anyone use Sukin products? particularly the masque

Firstly I’m a bit slow getting onto this brand and love that is 100% Aussie made and owned and not tested on animals. However I bought their masque on a whim and boy does it stink – like cod liver oil. However the exact same product is here on BH and the leading text says it smells like cranberry? A few others reviewed it and said it smells lovely – what happened? I have the exact same product as the review yet mine stinks like fish and most certainly isn’t off as I just got it at Priceline recently.

Has anyone used their products – and this masque in particular? Are the rest good? They seem reasonably priced and I love the fact they are Aussie and want to support Aussie businesses.

I am currently using the facial scrub and i have to say its one of the best i have tried in a long time and the price is affordable too. My skin has started to get dryer over these cold months and i find that it isn’t drying my skin out like a lot of other scrubs. I will definitely be trying out other products from this range 🙂

I recently tried the Sukin body wash and body lotion. Probably not something that I love enough to re purchase but they are decent for the price.

I have also bought their shampoo and conditioner, can’t wait for them to arrive in the post!

I am like you. I like to try an support Aussie brands whenever I can. for Sukin I am really liking the oil-balancing anti-pollution charcoal masque. Its quite dark when it gets dry but the smell is rather pleasant in my opinion.

Hey i’ve currently got the Sukin Hydrating Masque on the go, it smells ok, not my favourite and it’s definitely not a potent strong smell (like say you’d get on some Lush products) but it’s bearable and i’m loving the results.

I am so obsessed with Sukin products, I love them so much! I especially love the Revitalising Facial Scrub. I use this product once a day and it keeps my skin feeling fresh, clean and, of course, revitalised. Sukin products are not only Aussie owned and made and not tested on animals, the products don’t contain any of those nasty and harsh chemicals such as Sulphate and Paraben, which is perfect for sensitive skin.

Absolutely in love with my Sukin now that I’ve tested it for a couple weeks love the light cranberry scent / super gentle on my sensitive skin but still effective enough to assist with my skin impurities.

    Pleasant surprise 🙂

I love the clay mask – it has a reddish tinge to it (from the clay obviously). It has a slight fragrance, but nothing too offensive. I usually apply the mask with fingers after cleansing and patting my skin dry. I find when my skin is a bit damp, it really absorbs the effect of the mask quite well. Wait 12-15 minutes and wash off with water and moisturise as normal.
It is best you don’t try to move the muscles in your face when this mask is on to garner the full effects of the clay mask properties. Something about relaxed muscles absorbing the properties properly. It is hard – I especially want to chat once I have this mask on. I think it’s because I know I shouldn’t be talking and THAT’s when I want to talk.
I love the refreshed feeling my skin has once I’ve cleansed the mask off. It has that moisturised feeling and is super responsive to any moisturiser I use after cleansing it off.

  • I love the smell of that Sukin masque!

duality – how did it go with the replacement masque?
