Sports shoes – what’s your favourite brand?

I always like Nike too Hayley, but apart from the soles wearing really fast I found out that Nike is one of the worst sweat shop/child labour offenders… So yeah, I’m looking for something else too.

I agree with Marnie144, get your gait (running style I think?) analysed. I underpronate – meaning my feet roll inwards when I run. The best running shoes for my feet are Asics Gel Nimbus. I only run 5-6km 2-3 times a week but I found I did better with the appropriate shoe.

I wear Reebok and Nike. Provide great support and the quality makes the pricetag worth it.

Get fitted properly; they can tell you a lot about your feet such as running style, any arch issues, supinate/overpronation etc. Having the right running shoes will prevent the shoe from wearing down too quickly and also will correct your posture/running form.

I love Brooks! Expensive but definetely worth it. My partner is a retired pro athlete and he has always sworn by Brooks for running. I don’t mind ASICS either.

I always buy the Brooks Ariel for my feet that pronate. Excellent arch support and very sturdy.
