Wow! great work everyone and good luck in keeping it up. My goal is to complete a 10km fun run. I’m going to follow the beginner training plan on the website since it has been a long time since I have exercise. I hate starting from scratch but I’m hoping remembering how it use to feel will keep me going.

    Hi girls,
I’m new here so I hope I’m going about this the right way!
I’m starting Booty Camp next week, and your video and reviews were definitely an influence on my decision!
I can’t wait, I’m scared and excited all at the same time.
Fingers crossed I survive. I’m 20 and not the fittest but hopefully I come out a lot fitter! I’ve started exercising more regularly and hope that this is the change towards my new lifestyle of healthy and fit :).
    Love,
    nicoledee xx

week 1 #2: Tupperware & prepare. I’ve found the bootycamp diet 🙂 how hard can it be?
When I get the darlings organized (it WOULD be school holidays) I’ll hit coles for ingredients.
Maybe try online instead – less chance of getting distracted in the chokito aisle.
Fingers crossed this overhaul is more successful than ridding my built ins of ‘unwanted clothes’ to free up space 🙂

YES! My last baby is nearly 2 & altthough I weigh less I DO have tuck shop lady arms- and a spread middle I WANT GONE.
I did a Doctor check up today & got a go ahead – now to finish off all the choc bars in the house 🙁 my downfall.

Hi Mollygirl, I’m aiming for 5-10kgs so it will take a little while. I have a condition called orthostatic intolerance which means my heart doesn’t like to regulate how my blood is pumped around my body so exercise can leave me light headed, with pins and needles, worst scenario is fainting etc. I still exercise it just makes it harder to do cardio or fat burning ones because of it. Pretty frustrating. I still exercise and love to box, cycle etc so I often do it at home where I have set up an area that way if I have a problem I am in a safe place. I have my diet under control (choccies eating is under control!) and eat well so now its really up to me to keep at the physical exercise.

Thanks for the votes of confidence jatz and goddessmagick. I know exactly what you mean jatz about the scales. I often have to get on and off a couple of times and sometimes its because they are too low and i think they are wrong and others its because they are too high. I am having a bit of a break from the diet now. Still watching what I am eating but I am so over vegetable soup that the thought of it makes me want to throw up. LOL. Going to enjoy Christmas but keep an eye on what I am eating. Dont want to have to start all over again next year, besides I am really enjoying fitting into some nice clothes again at long last. We will have to keep on encouraging each other. Goddessmagick. You can do it. You just need determination. I’ll tell you what really helped me was that I decided that I would only reward myself with cappachinos or clothes and it worked. I wouldnt allow myself to buy takeaway at all when I was out. Once you make up your mind to lose the weight it is much easier but like Jatz I had a medical reason behind my weightloss goals too. My doctor told me I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high sugar so it shocked me into losing weight fast. I am now on blood pressure med, my sugar is back to normal which means i am not a diabetic, phew and my cholesterol is very slowly coming down so at the moment on nothing for that. Keep your chin up and you can do it too. I still have 3 kgs to go. So near but so very very far. Good luck ladies and thanks so much for your support. Oh goddessmagick, how much do you need to lose??? If its not a rude question that is so we can help you too.

Hey Mollygirl….we are trying to lose the same amount of kgs now. 3.
OMG……I got on the scales this morning and it said 64.4kg and I thought what? Got on them again and it said 63.8, then again 64.2kg then 63kgs…..hubby got on them and they went very high and then he ranted and raved. It’s only after that I looked underneath and obviously, the scales need a new battery….phew.
