I’m considering getting involved, but I can’t see any Adelaide locations on the Booty Camp website (if I’m looking at the right one!) Could you please confirm for me Olivia? Ta!

This is great! I was just saying to a friend that if I had the commando from the biggest loser to yell at me-I would be set. But peer pressure can be just as good to keep me on track hehe! My goal is to do some form of exercise for 30 mins each day (this can be Jenatte Jenkins workout tapes, a run around the block or a work-out on the Wii (if I’m feeling extra lazy), as well as 100 sit ups each day. This now is day 3, and was told it would take about a month to really tone up! Also my goal is to use honey instead of sugar-wherever I can! Thats it! A small goal-but an achievable one-I hope!

I don’t need a booty camp but I sure need motivation to keep losing this weight that I have to lose. I only have to lose 5kgs….but it’s really hard to get there.
I can come in here and boost me up lol.

I don’t need the booty camp either, but some motivation would be really great. I have to lose about 10 kgs and I have been dieting and exercising forever. I have so far lost 6 kgs so Im over a third of the way now but still cant see an end to it. I have just found out I have high blood pressure which I am now on medication for and earlier this week got the test results back for my cholestorol which is still high. My Dr said that as long as I keep dieting and exercising she will be happy as long as it continues to go down over the next six months and she wont need to treat it.
Currently I am on the Kick Start Diet which I began last week and have lost 1.7kgs in the first week but you must like soup. I really need to get on my treadmill but havent been able to motivate myself. I need help.

I need to gain weight (unhealthily underweight) . So my goal is to gain 2 kgs over the next 6 weeks! (definatley don’t need the booty camp!).

Definatley need to eat more vegies and fruit – so my goal – 2 pieces of fruit, and 3 vegies a day. And carry a water bottle – not coke! Just to get healthy on the inside :)

I am currently about 52 or 53 kgs. I am not fat, but feel like i wanna be leaner and trimmer and more tone.

GOAL:
1. Lose another 2-3 kgs, tone my tummy so its flat, tone my arms and thighs and my bottom.
2. Still eat whatever i want, but in smaller proportions. So at least i know im not totally cutting everything out of my diet as i know its unhealthy
3. Eat more fruits and vegetables, and drink freshly squeezed or home-made juice, so i realised what’s in whatever i eat and drink
4. Take leftover from home for work lunch, so again i recognise what i am eating (home-cooked meals mean that i know what i put in it and how nutritional the food is, compared to take-aways)
5. Cut down to just once a week take-aways (NO Maccas, KFC, Burger kings, just cooked meals that are healthy and that contain veges)
6. Try to eat more fish and low fat dairy such as yoghurt.
7. Drink more water
8. Cut down on sugar, fried food and unnecessary savoury food, like chips. (Still eat them but only in small portions)
9. NO snacking at night except on fruits and yoghurt(9 pm onwards)
10. Spend at least 20-30 mins exercise, whether its outdoor or at home

They are really really long list of my goals, but i think so far i have been good. Do cheat from time to time though, but i really want to stick with this for long time, long-term goals instead of short-term goals.

My Goal is to stop thinking that Im fat and complaining all the time but to actually get off my bum and do somerthing about it. I cant afford to go to the gym every week because it is very expensive so I bought the 30 day shred DVD by Gillian from the Biggest loser. It is a 30 day healthy eating and work out challenge:)

I would love to participate but I have to put my fitness goal on hold until after my surgery on 15 November. It will take about 5-6 weeks for me to recover and am not permitted to do any lifting, carrying or driving for that period. I will be interested in all beauties’ activities. When I am fully recovered, my goal is to get fit and remain fit with exercise including walking. I may start Pilates, Yoga or Zumba as I love dancing and have found dancing is a great way to stay fit. Swimming is one of my passions which is easier to do in summer than winter. In the meantime, I am doing daily stretching until I go to hospital. Good luck everyone!

like other beauties, i am in no real need for a booty camp, but i defiantly can take part in the fun, i have been needing some kind of motivation to make me stick to a routine…
with summer holidays just round the corner i am looking to shape up my body more and especially work on those flabby thighs we all hate so much..
.. i am going to try and stick to a healthy eating habit and stop snacking all the time.. also my sleeping pattern is horrible and i think thats whats making me feel the worst all the time, i shall be going to be a lot earlier and getting up bright and early to start my day and fit in a small yoga routine before tackling the days work load…
i love bh’s focus on health recently, it gives me something to keep in mind rather then just always put it to last…

All the best with your surgery and recovery roxymisha. Booty camp wouldn’t be for me at the moment as I’m currently pregnant. Although I regularly contribute to the ‘what exercise did you do today’ thread my goals have changed in that I’m not exercising to lose weight or maintain a certain weight but to keep fit and healthy throughout my pregnancy. With my last pregnancy I didn’t do any exercise and I suffered a lot of back pain, bloating and swollen feet however this time round I haven’t encountered any back pain and hope it helps me to have an easier labour. I’m eating well although give in to the odd cravings but try not to go overboard.

I dont think I could handle Boot Camp!

But I do need to lose weight – I promised myself when my youngest turns 12mths, that I would start exercising, to lose weight, get fit, and build a bit of muscle.

Well she is 14mths now and although I did for two weeks – walk 30mins three times a week, I stopped.

So I need the motivation to start again, I will keep a close eye on how everyone goes – great motivation.

After having baby number five 19mths ago i still have about 5kg i would like to lose and i really need to tone up. My main problem is i can’t seem to get motivated so i am hoping by joining this thread i might try harder and i will hopefull be on the way to a healthier lifestyle. So i need to eat better, lose at least 5kg, exercise more and of course drink more water. I am finding lately i have started feeling a bit run down and sad that i haven’t done anything earler, no excuses anymore!

When I was pregnant I had gestational diabetes so was on the really strict diabetes diet. It was absolute hell at first but once I got over myself and stopped sulking that I had diabetes and couldn’t eat what I wanted I realised that it was actually a very sensible well balanced diet. Its good because it makes you very aware of what you are eating – you are only allowed to have 12 serves of carbs a day ( a slice of bread is one carb serve, for example, most fruits are 1 carb serve, veges and meat have no carbs so they are free foods that you can eat as much as you like, whilst something like a muffin is 5 carb serves – so nearly half your daily allowance in one hit!). At first I was really strict, i wouldn’t eat any chocolate or anything like that, but then i realised that if I had eaten well all day and saved some of my carb serves I was allowed to have a treat like a magnum (2 carb serves!) – in the past I would have eaten what i wanted all day then still had the treat, now I had to plan ahead – if I wanted a treat later I had to eat well to earn it.

I don’t know whether it was the diet or not but I only put on 4kgs in pregnancy and I vowed that I would continue the diet even after I had the baby. But then in the first few months after having the baby I was so incredibly hungry and also desperate for energy hits I would eat whatever was on hand, and it was usually something carby. I then vowed, once the hunger settled down that I would go on the diet, but I was still breast feeding and wasnt sure whether I would be getting enough energy in, so I then vowed to go back on the diet once I stopped breast feeding. Well my son weened himself a week ago, so excuses are over.

So my health and fitness goals are, starting today, to go back on the diabetic diet, and become more aware of what and how much I am eating, to ensure that we always have plenty of fresh fruit and veges in the house so when I am hungry I don’t resort to eating crap, and to walk at least 30 minutes, 3 times a week. This is a realistic excerise aim, and one that my son will also get a lot of pleasure out of.

What a great thread, we should definitely support one another to get a bikini perfect body for summer.

I am really short so the weight i weight right now is not in proportion to my body. I currently would love to lose about 6kgs and hopefully get down to about 46kgs. What a dream come true that would be.

A boot camp sounds so intense. That video is really quite daunting byt i would definitely love to lose the weight. Formal is coming up and i would love to look the best i can.

My goals are:

- Eating less than 2000 calories a day
- Run for 30 minutes for at least once a week
- Do a short ab workout at least 4 times a week (I need a flat stomach NOW!)
- CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO at least 20 minutes 3 times a week
- Drink 8 cups or more of water
- No snacking after 8pm. Including fruit
- Junk food only once a week
- Stop binge eating in front of the tv

So for the last two days, it has been pretty succesful. I hope i can keep this up for the rest of the month. Wish me luck lols

My goal is to increase my pilates so my tummy will be toned, flat and hopefully a little six-pack showing for my bikini!

More importantly I want to keep my fitness up so my heart is healthy for the rest of my life.

That sounds like a tough routine D:
I so admire your willpower cherrybliss! But, especially if your in year 10, maybe you shouldn’t be so tough on yourself if your still within growing years… I wouldn’t want you to compromise a potential height/bra-size for a tiny weight!
But if you’re super desparate for 46kg, Good luck!!!
p.s. I’m sure you’’ll look stunning at your formal ;)

Haha, your so smart strawberry <3 How did you know i was in year 10?

I doubt i can acutally keep up with my program. Probably will give up in a week lols.

I am super tiny so 46kgs is not actually ‘underweight’ in my circumstances lols

I have decided to start a little diary to record what I’m eating (so I don’t eat too many things I am intolerant to), how much water I actually drink and what exercise I do. I’m hoping that if I can see clearly what I should be doing it will help to motivate me to start doing it!
I have my year 12 formal soon Cherrybliss, I’m so excited!

my goodness… i had this great big realization this morning… here i was thinking i was doing pretty well in leading a normal life, i mean i am no where near overweight, i dont stock up on sweets often and i walk to the train station and then to uni almost ever day and when i can i try and squeeze in some yoga … but this morning when my sister rang up and needed a form from me and her assignment was due so she was getting on the train very soon and she told me to meet her at the train station near where i live (one stop away) and i could give her the form and she could stay on the train… i was in my pjs so i threw on some clothes and ran down the the station, my sister was waiting on the platform as i just got there as the train was leaving and i nearly passed out before my sister gave me her bottle of water…
it was then when i got back home that i realized i should not be this unfit!!
although i still dont think booty camp would be for me, i am seriously going to go for a jog every other day and try and get a little more fit so when i have to rush for a train or bus i dont nearly pass out!!!
:)
