Workouts

Hi everyone!
I’m in the process of trying to get fit and be healthy at the moment and scrolling through the forum, I’ve realised there isn’t really anything directly related to exercise/working out so I thought I’d open this thread.

If anyone has a good workout routine or form of exercise they find to be really beneficial post it hear! I’d love to hear about them and give some things a go! 🙂

I’m only just easing into exercise, but my workout routine currently it consists of a 15 min walk/jog followed by some squats, situps, pushups, dumbbells etc. I also have sooooooo many ideas/challenges pinned on Pinterest (great for motivation)!!

great topic, i luckily found fitness blender on you tube after searching for some good squat work outs, its a couple that do all the work outs and oh my goodness its the best thing ive ever done. dont waste your time going to the gym because this lady does all the excersises while there is a voice over. there’s plenty of work outs to suit you and your body type, physical strenght. i was mainly focusing on squats, legs, yoga, pilates and their stretching techniques made me feel so relaxed after doing a full work out video. i saw results in my body after a few months. i would recommend fitness blender to all who like the privacy of working out at home. fitness blender are amazing.

I recently got done with 21 Day Fix and really loved it. Great work out program but also had a meal plan that was easy to follow and I still use The program seems to be having great results from looking at all the 21 Day Fix before and afters- http://www.beachbody.com/beachbodyblog/category/success-stories/21-day-fix-success-stories I get excited when I see people who are achieving their goals, because I know how difficult it is for me to start and stick with something.

At the moment I’m just trying to fit in any form of exercise most days of the week and I’m finding that helping. It might just be a 20 minute walk with my dog or jumping on our stationary bike when watching a movie but I have to remind myself that something is better than nothing and then once I’m going I find it easier to add on an extra 5 or 10 minutes.

I’ve just spent the past hour and a half checking out this site and I’m excited to share it with you gals who are on your fitness journey.
The site is efit30.com.au and its pretty sweet. If you scroll down the homepage you’ll see a link to a boot camp program. It has a workout program and food guide with healthy recipes.
I’ve just printed it off and think its fab. The workouts are all free too. Check it out girls!

Alot of people say do the excersizes and the dieting but honestly anytime you’re just standing in one spot, while you make a cup of tea or something just start jogging on the spot. Do squats. Sitting on the couch? Try doing some planks and side planks while the ads are on tele. Drink lots of water. Water is your body’s best friend. I do about 20 crunches and then rest for 50 seconds and do 3-4 sets of 20 depending on the day lol. But honestly, it’s not that hard when you’re really into it.

another thing is finding activities you enjoy! you’re more likely to stick to it. I used to do all the les mills classes but found that it wasn’t doing much for me, so now i stick to Body attack and RPM. The rest of my workout schedule is small group training (30 mins circuit style workouts from weights, hiit to freestyle/suspension training) and yoga too.

If it’s holiday season, then I’d like to take my training outdoors and use my cousin’s home gym for weights.
