Weigh loss: Pills?

Just wanted to get a few perspectives or experiences of using weight loss pills to aid your weight loss journey.

Currently my head is looking at anything with garcinia cambogia but really which product to choose gets me stuck.

I found in priceline “metab assist with garcinia” by pure wellness but im not really sure if that’s going to make a difference. Its only been 5 days on it so far.

Do you have any recommendations? good or bad I would like to know 🙂

Thank you!

I am surprised why people such waste money for loss their weight. Why people not go with the natural treatments and home remedies they really worked. Yes you can take help of slim tea or products like suana belt which can be used externally. But pills no and never for me.

Adelina633 I have read a lot about the garcina cambogia, and from watching Dr Oz as well. It’s more important that you pick the brand that has 50% HCA or more, as any lower than that means the pill is full of artifical fillers. I’ve used the Healthy Care brand that is available at priceline. But I honestly didn’t use it regularly enough to notice any difference.

This is a good website that details different studies and experiments using the pills. I don’t believe they are all that harmful to you, as it’s an extract from a plant, but they can cause headaches and digestive issues. But also it’s recommended not to exceed taking the pills for longer than 12 weeks.

I would recommend to you start exercises to reduce your weight. Excessive Pills may be harm for your health. Slim in 6 is a registered brand to reduced weight in just 6 weeks and highly recommended product. I am using since last 2 weeks and feel good to reduce my weight. slim in 6 is terrific, best and most effective workout ever used. Begins with basics and increases intensity. You can buy this program by using their discounted offer here. If you stick with it, you will see results!! Best of luck!!

I saw a quote that made me laugh- “Does Oprah have stocks in it” or something like that and I figure if there was a product out there that made it super easy surely she would be on it and singing their praises. Go have a chat to your doctor to see if there are any underlining issues if you are struggling to lose weight-if there’s not then swap what you are eating to healthier foods and see if that helps. It’s not a quick fix but will work in the long term.

Weight loss pills are a fad!

You can lose weight on them but you still have to eat healthy and exercise a lot! Which in my opinion will make you lose weight anyways – without the pills.

I have tried many different weight loss supplements and each time they have given new horrible side effects – stomach cramps, heart burn, heart palpitations and the worst HEADACHES!

My advice would be – Avoid them! Eat healthy and moderate exercise.

If you are looking for a quick solution there isn’t one!

I replied to this earlier, but I had included a link so it’s been picked up by the spam watcher I think. Anyways, I have used the Healthy Care brand of Garcinia Cambogia which is available from chemist warehouse. I didn’t really take it enough to notice any difference, but it’s meant to be more of a surpressant. It is an extract from a plant, so I believe it’s not too harmful. It can cause headaches and digestive issues if you have a sensitive stomach.

I have watched Dr Oz talk about this pill and he recommends looking for a brand that has 50% or more HCA, otherwise anything lower just has aritifical fillers and won’t do a lot for you.

I do however think it’s best to eat healthy and excercise. I’ve recently started going back to the gym and i’m already noticing the difference! You could also try Green Tea, I take Green Tea X50 which speeds up your metabolism!

    Hi Adelina633,
I have to say i agree with Misy Rose. I would like to add that diet pills are not going to give you sustainable weight loss, along with some serious possible side effects. I too have heard that they don’t work and like Misy Rise said if that miracle pill did exist almost everyone would be taking it.
I would also be worried about the effects on your body and over time how does it affect you and your metabolism. Weight loss is/can be a long journey and it takes time and that’s just the reality of it, cutting corners in my opinion isn’t going to give you lasting results (or any at that).

My opinion is start to eat clean, focus most your meals on fruits and veg, cut down on dairy and meat because they are mostly fat, drink enough water, get a good night sleep, cut out soft drinks, cut out deep fried foods and greasy fast foods. Over time you will feel better as well as lose weight without causing any issues to your body’s health.

I would have to recommend that you talk to your doctor about it, since they have unpleasant side effects (like heart attacks, constipation and insomnia) and most are ineffective.

Honestly, if there really is a miracle pill that could help people lose weight safely and permanently, everyone would be taking it then and be miraculously skinny the next day!
