How do you de-stress?

Hi beauties,

Now that most of us are back to the daily grind, I want to know how do you de-stress?

Personally, I like to walk home after work. I put my music in and just have some alone time for an hour. I find it’s a good way to wind down and slow down my brain a bit.

But I’d love to know of other ways so please share! Let’s all try to stress less this year.

    Yoga and listen to mediation music and it really help me to handle the stress in my daily life..

    I love to put on some soft music, light a couple of tea light candles, and stand under a hot shower…and I imagine that I’m standing someplace tropical, under a waterfall…washing all the crap from the day away.

    Reading and colouring. There are some beautiful colouring books for adults out there. They really help you focusing on the present.

    Exercise – long walks help, I also like to give myself a DIY facial or relax and read a magazine.

    Many things really and retail therapy is one of them! the fastest way to relief stress, but only gives you short-term excitement as the moment you see your credit card bill, you would get stress again!

    i think for me the best method is to meditate and exercise. They are wallet friendly and give you a long-term stress relief too.

    Distraction is a big one for me. That could be anything from reading a book, shopping, doing a cross word, cleaning out my room, watching movie or TV, focusing on someone else or getting some fresh air with a nice walk. Refocusing my mind gives it less attention to things that stress me out.

    I buy those $5 crossword magazines (lol) and go sit out in our hammock and get lost in that for a while 🙂 Otherwise, coffee or tea, a good tv show or even on BH 🙂 Anything that keeps my mind off study for a few minutes is alright by me 🙂

    Books and music are a godsend!

    I like to just take some time to do something for myself that I enjoy. Even if it is just eating something I enjoy but usually tend to steer away from or buying myself a treat. It is good to destress.

    I like to do some yoga. If that doesn’t work red wine!!!!
