Handcream OBSESSION

Does anyone else have this problem. I just love having all different fragrances of handcream and I probably have about 20 at the moment which is ridiculous! My friend bought me a heap for my birthday from the body shop so now I have a box specifically for handcreams
My favourites at the moment are the holiday editions from the body shop
Glazed Apple and Vanilla Brulee

I would like to try the Kosmea Rose handcream, but haven’t been able to source any in Darwin. It’s on my shopping list for my trip to Melbourne next week. Only 6 more sleeps to go!

I tried the Kosmea handcream yesterday in David Jones, but I didn’t buy any. It felt nice, but I didn’t really like the scent. I expected a true rose scent, but there’s something about it that I didn’t like.
I’ll stick with my Jurlique rose handcream for now.

Rose, how disappointing that Kosmea Rose Hand Cream doesn’t have the best scent. Now I’m concerned about the one that I bought! I suspect that Jurlique’s Rose Hand Cream is hard to beat as far as scent, and it also has a superbly nourishing formula.

If you love Jurlique handcreams, you’ve got to try the anti-ageing version. I picked up a couple of sample sachets last week. It’s absolutely gorgeous! It doesn’t smell as pretty as the rose handcream, but oh wow it feels lovely. I’m thinking that a tube of this just might find it’s way into my shopping basket real soon!

My mum is obsessed with one particular Evelyn and Crabtree one which I can’t remember the name of it, comes in a white tube? But I didn’t think there was much diff between them except fir the fragrances however the one she originally had was heaps more moisturising than the others. I bought her last Christmas the huge tin that had 24 of the handbag size tubes in it. Had almost all flavours except the one she realky loves and the garden one…the other super hydrating one in their range. She still enjoys them though and still has a few left in the tin…infact I think she loved the tin the most lol!!!

Ooh – if that Crabtree and Evelyn tin is around again this Christmas, *I* want it!! Their La Source one is my favourite, but since the handbag size ones came out, I might have accidentally purchased a few 🙂

I think they have it reguarly. And they often have it either discounted or a GWP. The tim itself is gorgeous!!! Quite large but so pretty!

I only use hand creams with natural ingredients. After trying quite a few, I think I’ve settled on the Jurlique hand creams (rose is my favourite). I have just bought hand creams from Kosmea and Grown, but I haven’t tried them yet. On my list of products to try is Burt’s Bees Beeswax & Banana Hand Creme and Trilogy Ultra Hydrating Hand Cream.

I wish I knew that you wanted the Kosmea one as I recently threw out a barely used tube – I could have sent it to you 🙁
I personally didn’t like it as it smelt horrible and nothing like roses to me but there may be something wrong with my nose! :p

maydayismyday, I’m touched that you would have sent me your unwanted hand cream. If I don’t like its scent, I can easily fix it by mixing a few drops of essential oil with it.

*Rose*, Kosmea Rose Hand Cream is presently available as part of a special deal pack at a few online stores (see below). I bought the pack from One Floor and they have always sent their orders promptly. If you go onto the store’s mailing list, they will notify you of sales which are usually about 15% off. The store also sells Eye of Horus:

    Kosmea Organic Rose Hip Oil

Thank you Petal. That’s really good value.

*Rose*, I posted the links to where you can buy the Kosmea Rose Hand Cream as part of a pack, but I think my post went into moderation (BH must assume that I’m a spammer). The links should appear tomorrow. Do a Google search for “Kosmea Rose Collection Pack” and you will find it at several places.

I’ve searched all of those retailers listed for Darwin, but no one has got them 🙁
It’s not easy to get stuff up here. And restocking shelves takes weeks, if not months!
