The Best Treatment for Hair

Good afternoon

Wondering what others have found to be the best hair treatment? I have long hair and I currently use coconut oil to treat it about every 1.5 weeks. Have previously used Wella Hydrate Mask and Macadamia and Argan oil treatment.

Thanks!
Lily

And for *Rose_P* and anyone I may have horrified with my previous selfie, here’s a ‘after’ treatment photo with essential makeup!

Kassalee, you look great in both photos. Very cute in the first one and beautiful in the second photo.

btw, I completely missed this thread all these days, this is exactly what I mean, I can ‘be’ on BH for hours, but still miss something!

Thanks Kassalee. I think it says a lot that not only would you do it again but that you want it for your daughter. I think it sounds like a winner.

Lovely photo, your hair looks great. As do you, of course 🙂
How did you find the results of the Keratase Treatment?

Thanks Rose_P and Pink Hornet and I’m very impressed with the Kerastase Discipline Treatment.

It’s been 2 months and I’d love to get it done again, but it’s a fairly new treatment – seems to only be coming into Kerastase salons in the last week or two.
I inquired last week at a nearby salon and the SA didn’t seem to know much about it and when I asked the cost for my length hair, she said $120. I know that sounds alright, but on the day, Bridget said my hair would be about $100 and I saw on the rescu roadtest blog that it was ‘from’ $60 for short hair and up to $220 for extra long hair with prices varying from salon to salon – and this was at Paddington, not my suburban Miranda! I know my hair’s not super short, but might shop around as I’d like it done for my daughter’s Year 12 graduation dinner in late November.

And I totally love the Kerastase products I’m using – only used the bhave product for the Wondercap as it was a treatment and I don’t have the Kerastase treatment, but I do have the shampoo, conditioner and styling spray. And I have to say that even tho the product range is $42-$60, I will be purchasing it, as only a small amount is needed (for my ‘short’ hair!) and after 2 months, I still have plenty left. I have reviewed the shampoo and conditioner, having received them on the day – only received the styling spray a week or so ago, but so far, very happy with it.

*Kassalee* pretty please post a pic tomorrow to show us the result.

*Oonga* ROFLMAO! Maybe your doggie wanted a hair treatment too!

Oonga, that story is too funny! I’m imagining you in a tug-of-war with the Wondercap tightly clenched in your rottweiler’s jaws!

I did find my Wondercap very amusing and when taking this selfie, I was still laughing at myself as it arrived earlier, as I was enjoying a lazy, vegging out morning – everyone was off for the day and as I hadn’t showered, took the opportunity to test out the Wondercap, using a bhave treatment I had.
Popped the Wondercap in the microwave, put it on (with supplied disposable shower cap underneath) and just them, my washing machine finished it’s cycle. It was 10.30 in the morning and the elderly neighbour hadn’t put any washing out, so I thought I was pretty safe to hang mine out.
WRONG! Halfway through, I heard a noise and sheepishly looked over the low wooden fence, to find her looking straight at me – I smiled and swung the line around so the sheets hid my horror!
After hurriedly racing up the back steps (not game to look) I burst out laughing and had to take a photo.
I must add that the Wondercap is filled with some gel-like substance (kind of quilted in squares) that retains the heat, and they say to leave it on 3-5 minutes. I’d had it on for maybe 15 mins with hanging out washing and by that time it was starting to give me a headache – my crown (thank you Smiling) was becoming quite heavy!

HRH Kassalee, such a nice crown you have there! Do grace us with your lovely pic again tomorrow with your glowing crowning glory! :p

Oonga Seeing your dogs with their smiling faces on your profile pic made me imagine one of them wearing your wondercap and made me laugh! And yes, men are clueless with our “necessary” girly stuff! 🙂

I’m glad I checked in again tonight or I’d have missed the pic! Looking great Kassalee! 🙂

I had a good laugh at your Wondercap story Oonga. I’m picturing a mad woman running around in circles, waving her arms about and shouting ‘my wondercap! my wondercap!’ LOL 😉
