Sukin Natural Hair Products?

Has anyone tried any of the Sukin hair products? I saw their range the other day on a display in the chemist and wanted to pick up the purifying shampoo and nourishing conditioner but didn’t have enough time to read the ingredients. Now that I can see on their website that they’re sulfate and silicone free and look amazing I just want to see if anyone else has tried any of the haircare range and what they thought.

Thanks 🙂

I have really dry Afro Caribbean hair which is very course I tried this today the moisture one shampoo and conditioner. Washing it it instantly felt different from other sulphate shampoos I had previously been using. After shampooing and conditioning I used some organic coconut oil and my hair has never felt or looked better . Not to mention ATM where I live it’s realy humid and I usually suffer really had from frizzy hair it’s under control I’m loving it .

I soo wanted these products to be good because they leave out some pretty nasty ingredients and the price is good. However, I was not blown away by any of the products and haven’t bought then since…

Wow, so glad I found this thread. I have been eyeing Sukin hair products now, because of they are supposed to not contain chemicals. I’ll probably look at other brands from now on.

My husband liked the Sukin – I gave it to him because I hated it!

My favourite sulfate free shampoo and conditioner range is David Babbaii. You can get from Priceline

Echoing everyone else here by saying I love their skin products but have heard so much negative about the hair products online and from friends. 🙁 I have thick frizzy hair so not risking it!

As much as I am a fan of Sukin skin products (especially their RHO), I’m not so much a fan of their shampoo/conditioners. The ones I have used have dried my hair out. They now get used on my fur friends (dogs) :))

I have the Sukin purifying shampoo in a big handy pump, but I think it dries my hair because my hair is very rough even if I use just a little bit.

I love the fact that its an Australian brand, inexpensive, and uses natural ingredients, but I don’t like the shampoo too much.

My other (sort of) gripe is that I find most of the Sukin
products have the same smell, so I prefer to use something else.
But I do use the deodorant as a body spray (even though it has the same smell as the shampoo & face moisturizer).

As much as i love the Sukin skin products, the hair products arent any good at all, made my hair which is not super dry, like hay, it was awful, i also used it on my childrens beautiful silky hair and made it look awful, dont waste your money on the hair products trust me.

I tried the leave in conditioner and end up throwing it out. Aside from smelling like grass it did nothing for my long, thick hair.

Look at the reviews on this site for Sukin’s products. I used their shampoos and conditioners and I think that they are a good budget non-sulphate range, but not suitable for my extra dry hair as I need more conditioning.
