Silver Bullet Hair Straightener

Hi girls!

I’m confused about this brand. Unlike any other brand, GHD in particular I can’t seem to find an official website. In fact, when you search for Silver Bullet hardly anything comes up compared to other brands of hair straighteners! Does this mean that this brand is dodgy?

Also, I’ve heard great things about the Silver Bullet Black Crystal Crystalline Ceramic Straightener but there is not much reviews around or much knowledge!

Anyone know what’s going on? I really want to know if its as great as listed on the 9am show. Supposedly highly recommended by stylists!

Thanks!

I’ve just read your post – I suspect it is made in China I Googled “silver bullet hair straightener manufacturer” and best match was http://www.alibaba.com/silver-bullet-hair-straightener-manufacturers.html so maybe they are made in China but sold through i-glamour in Australia???

For reviews I Googled “silver bullet hair straightener review” and a whole load appeared – enjoy!

I have a silver bullet straightener. I have had it for about 4 years. It is ceramic tourmaline ionic. I spent over $200 when I bought it and it was a bit less than a similar ghd item I was considering which didn’t have adjustable temperature on it. I thought that was ridiculous and on hair house warehouse staff advice I went with the bullet. I am very happy with it.

First time I used it I was a bit surprised, my straightener before it (can’t remember brand) would heat to a crazy hot heat and smooth my hair down in one action very quickly. Which seemed great. A few hours after my hair would be frizzy and fluffy though. With the bullet I need to spend a little bit longer pulling the straightener through my hair and it sets it super sleek and best of all it holds my hair strait the way I leave it until I wash it.

If I happened to need a new straightener I would buy this brand again. Recommended! For the record I have LOTS of hair and it is long and wavy. Not thick but lots of hair 🙂

I’ve tried different brands and I prefer the Karmin Professional Titanium flat iron, it works pretty good, removes static and leaves my hair silky and shiny, and it’s less damaging than chemical treatments. I bought at my hair styling tools 🙂

I actually bought the Silver Bullet hair straightener and I love it! It works better than GHC in my opinion and since mine is longer too, it gets the job done FASTER.

    Two thumbs up for me!

I recommend you a better hair straightener, it’s the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it has tourmaline ceramic plates that cause less damage to the hair, you can make pretty curls with it and it keeps the hair soft, shiny and super straight. I luv it !!
If you are interested I bought it at hairproductspro.com .
Hope this helps and good luck. 😀

I have a silver bullet straightener and i think it is a hell of a lot better then my GHD. I have frizzzy curly hair and it straightens and smooths it for me which is a tough task!

silver bullets are great, there was a few models recalled at one point. i dont know if its still the same but they never used to have an aussie main location, years ago any company that wanted them had to purchase them from a wholesale hairdressing supplier as they were the only ones importing them, that may have all changed though.
