School hairstyles!

As a beauty lover, I like to spend a little extra time getting ready in the mornings. However, still being at school, I get no choice over my clothes and we’re not allowed to wear make-up. Leaving me with just one creative outlet – my hair. The problem is I’m completely out of hair-spiration!
If any of you lovelies have some school hair suggestions, I would love to hear them! Xx

    I think schools only allow the simple hair style. I do not use stylish hair style during the school timing.

  • Make up Secret – theres a website and ill double check the website url but theres a way to make your makeup look natural! Nice and light 🙂

    The hair I used at school was a double high pony tail with a french braided fringe! Or even try the new Elsa (from frozen) hair style!

    The only hairstyle I ever wore to school was wearing it down with zero styling. I just was never good at hairstyling. Still am not 🙁

    I’ve recently mastered the five strand plait & I’ve been wearing it to death. If I knew how simple it is to do when I was going to school, this would have been my staple back then.
    • Divide your hair as evenly as you can into five sections;
    • Take the right strand over the strand next to it, then under the next strand;
    • Now do the same on the left – left strand over then under;
    • Right strand over then under; left strand over then under, all the way down;
    • Leave a little bit of space between the end of the plait & the hair tie & pull the plait loose.
    • Ta daaaa!

    My go to hairstyles are the half bun/half ponytail. I just put my hair into a high ponytail or pull the top layer of my hair back and put it into a ponytail, but don’t completely pull it through.
    I also do side braids, but since my hair isn’t particularly long, they don’t stay in. To fix this, I do a super loose french braid from my opposite ear (kind of Katniss Everdeen style but a bit looser and messier).
    If I can be bothered the night before, I’ll put my hair in two or three braids and take them out in the morning to give me some nice waves. It’s super pretty.

    This is a great question, there are so many amazing hair styles online to try. The trick is trying to do them on yourself!
    Braids are always so pretty and there are alot of different ones out there. The waterfall braid is pretty, my daughter always gets comments when I do that one in her hair.
    Just to add, my daughter came home from school the other week saying her teacher told her they are not allowed to wear hairstyles that make other people jealous! I’m sure he was only joking but I do try some interesting things on her hair but I’m still not too sure!

    Ah, I have the same problem. Since I’m in my final year of secondary school, it’s so hard to get myself motivated to do hairstyles. I have so many exams and late night studyings that I rather sleep in and just do a half ponytail because it keeps my hair out of my face and I don’t really like the end result when my hair is in a bun. But I remember when I used to do elaborate hair braids and experiment with heatless curls when I was younger because I loved doing my hair and I would even plait my friends’ hair too!
    So it really depends on the time you have, how long your hair is, how you want it (half up/half down or everything up) and how thick your hair is. You can search youtubers like luxyhair (has a whole playlist of everyday hair styles), Abbysmith (has a lot of tutorials with twisting and braids), Lilith Moon (Has separate playlist for work/school hair styles – really good tutorials!) and Kayley Melissa (has playlist for everyday looks, elaborate instructions and easy to follow) – > I love them all, they explain everything in detail and they also do their hair in front of the camera.

    But my go-to hairstyle are braids and ponytails. Braiding two sides of my head in a dutch or french plait and then linking the plaits to my ponytail. Another hairstyle that takes around 30 seconds is tying a ponytail, grabbing a long thin-thick section of hair and then wrapping it around the ponytail elastic and then securing the ends with a strong bobbypin at the base of the ponytail. It looks so elegant but it didn’t take any effort! (:

    Also you can visit beautydepartment.com, they high quality photographs and in depth tutorials covering hair styles through to make-up and nails. The photo attached is quite simple too, you grab two thin sections from each side, make a knot and then pin the ends down UNDER the hair and repeat again, the source is from here: http://thebeautydepartment.com/2015/03/messy-knotted-ponytail/
    Have fun! (:

    Oh wow, that is such a beautiful hairstyle thank you for sharing it rose-petals! I’ll have to try it out when I have time!
