Reverse Hair Wash

I’ve tried this a few times – with long hair and with shorter shoulder length hair. With long hair I found that it gave me volume but made my hair really frizzy. With my shorter hair now, it seems like it doesn’t get as greasy, has more volume but gets more knotty once it’s dry (I guess since my hair is much shorter now, most of the conditioner at the ends gets washed out too). Might keep trying it for a little while longer and hopefully will find a good balance 🙂

My hair didn’t become oily (as quickly) and I had a bit more volume to my hair, also there weren’t as many flyaways.
Whereas usually when I use conditioner last, it always makes my curls limp, oily and yuck.

I might stick to this new way of washing my hair!

Wow this is interesting…

I love conditioning my hair after shampooing though because it detangles my hair and makes it so much easier to comb after my shower.

Sometimes if my hair’s in a big knot i will do it first.

Its good for a few hair types.

Ive been doing this for about a month now since first reading about it, thought I would give it a go! I can say that my roots dont become greasy as quick and it hasnt made my hair any more frizzy than usual so thats a bonus!

OK – I tried it last night and I can honestly say it made zero difference to me. No better and no worse – exactly the same result. I must have strange hair!

I have my doubts this will work for me but hey! I’ll try pretty much anything once 🙂

I’ll give it a go tonight and report back. I’m thinking it will be tangle city though…

I have fine hair and have been forced before to shampoo only…and while the result dry isn’t too bad, but dealing with it wet is awful! Sticky, tangled….I imagine reverse washing would be similar if not the same…. still I’ll keep an eye out here – if the results are positive from others I’d give it a try
