HELP? WHICH IS THE BEST SHAMPOO?

I have been searching for the best shampoo ages and havn’t seemed to have found it yet. ALmost all the shampoos i have tried have left my hair squeaky and tangled up. The better ones don’t have a strong smell, which i don’t like. ALso, not fond of shampoo. What will work or me???

Honestly I don’t spend much on shampoo because it’s main job is to clean, there is no variance in that of a cheapie and a more expensive one in the cleaning department in my experience. Right now I’m using herbal essences 🙂 Maybe you’ve got too much protein in your shampoo which is leading to it feeling tangly?

I feel like my hair is soft and bouncy and less hair fall outs:)

RPR is my favourite hair care brand. They have excellent products including shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling.
My hair was a mess before I started using their shampoo and conditioner. The best past is that their products are Australian Made & Owned and they don’t test on animals 😀
Worth looking into their products in my opinion.

In my opinion, you can’t go past Redken. They have such a huge range that there is almost certainly a variety that you will like. They are also easy to find at all hairhouse warehouse type stores. The most popular seems to be the All Soft range which my housemate uses and raves about how soft, shiny & manageable it makes her naturally ‘difficult’ hair.
Good luck with your search banana pants!

Oh I love that one too!!! Yes it is the pink bottle with green cap – looks just like the original Herbal Essences range. I LOVEEEEE it for my coloured hair, I have also seen a yellow bottle one (I think it’s for normal hair) in Safeway. I just wish Clairol never changed their formulas because the old ones were amazing! Does anyone remember the Fruit Fusions one with mandarin and star fruit?! OMG that was seriously the best smelling shampoo/conditioner ever 😀

Beauty_jem, I have seen the classic herbal essences at my local Priceline, didn’t look closely though so I’m not sure if they have the full range still

I saw the classic bottle today out of the corner of my eye in Coles! There’s only one now I think, the rose scent in the pink bottle with green cap, and it’s labelled as suitable for dyed, dry, damaged, normal hair the lot! So I’m guessing this is the only one they’re putting out from the old style range, it was even labelled as classic I think! Had to buy a bottle, I can’t resist the smell!

Yep It’s called “Classic Herbal Essence” or something, it’s been around for years and is really popular actually. I get people buying it all the time, even when it’s not on special. Coles only sell the pink ones with the rose on the packaging, i’m assuming this is the only Classic one available as it’s the only one i’ve ever seen. But yeah, it’s nothing new.

Redken and Delorenzo are my favourite salon brands and MooGoo and the new L’Oreal Natural sulphate free for natural 🙂
