Hairspray

I use a lot of hair spray at dance competitions, however it always looks like I’ve got super bad dandruff at the end of the day because I have to brush it out of whatever style it’s holding several times during the day for hair and costume changes. I do have dark hair, so that may be the root of my problem (hehe) of my problem 🙂
Does anyone else get this? Any suggestions for hairspray that doesn’t give me the dandruff effect?

I had the same problem with a mousse once, only I didn’t realise that it was the mousse so I went out & bought anti-dandruff shampoo, lol. It’s definitely the brand of hairspray you’re using. I spray & I’m good to go, but I don’t have to brush it out & restyle multiple times in a single day/night. You might be better off asking some of your competitors which hairspray they use. Or is competition too brutal to trust their recommendations?
