Hair replumping treatment?

I’d love to hear if any of you have had an in-salon replumping treatment and whether you liked it and if it had any lasting benefits to your hair’s condition. My hair is actually quite thick and frizzy, and I was hoping it might settle down the frizz a bit. My local salon is offering it at a very good price, but I can’t find very much information on line about what the products actually are and do and would appreciate any stories pos or neg that you beauties might have. Thank you!

Okay – I took the plunge and had this done after my haircut yesterday (it was the Davines Naturaltech which basically uses Hyaluronic acid as its active ingredient). It was very easy to do (15 mins and included a head massage) and did only cost $20 more than my already reasonably priced $20 haircut so not too outrageous. The results are definitely shiny – super shiny, and very soft (feels great and no tangles – which is a big change for me as my hair is very tangly usually but the hairdresser did comb it through). Is it worth the $20? Not sure yet.

Sorry, not understanding “replumping” treatment. I use Pro Naturals hair repair treatment which definitely controls frizz, helps keep hair healthy and the argan oil leave in treatment which I use after each shampoo acts as a heat protectant so no more brittle or split ends, no frizzy ends.
