Can you use Baby Shampoo on adult hair?

Hi beauties,

I have been using Johnson’s Baby Shampoo to clean my make-up brushes of over a week now and I was wondering if I can use Baby Shampoo on my semi wavy hair. Also on my scalp and roots.

Thanks for helping me out.

Seriously it is perfectly fine to use baby shampoo on your hair for a thorough cleansing.

I think you can! My doctor once prescribed me baby shampoo (which was Johnson’s) when my scalp was getting out of hand and everything was fine! I do think it’s suitable for scalps that are very sensitive or need a quick cleanse before applying a scalp treatment (:

I agree with cat lover. I have coloured hair though and when i did happen to use it, my hair felt like straw it was awful and i found that it stripped alittle of the colour 🙁 so i would not use it again, it is full of horrible chemicals that is supposed to go on a babies head, revolting stuff.

Yes bmill229, you can used baby shampoo on your hair, but be wary that it really strips the hair and makes it ‘squeaky clean’. I’ve found that it’s a good thing to do once in a while if you’re experiencing product build-up on your hair. I’d never use it on a baby though!!
