Best Balayage in Syd

Hi Beauties,
I am wanting to have balayage done to my virgin hair, my hair is very dark brown at the top with natural blondish/red highlights at the ends. I was thinking of getting a nice caramel colour so its a bit nicer & subtle. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good hairdresser/salon for the job, I’m located in Sydney. TIA xx

  • Highly recommend the hair salon at The Star in Pyrmont. They are amazing. Fix dramas, great atmosphere, terrific results. Can’t say enough good things and I am soooooooo fussy. Everything from Blondes, to redheads (my friend swears by then) and fantastic with Asian hair too.

hi pink hornet, thanks for the recommendation. just wondering how much do you normally pay for your balayage?

  • thank you all for replying, much appreciated. i didn’t see your responses until today so ended up getting it done at lattouf at top ryde. really love how my hair turned out but wish it wasn’t so darn expensive. i paid $212 for 2 different colours, toner & blow dry (they also curled it so not sure if i was charged for styling). might check at the hair salon at the star next time. if you google lilly aldridge thats what my hair looks like, i am really happy with it!

Will keep those salons in mind (if my daughter ever decides to risk a balyage again!)

The hair salon at The Star in Pyrmont, Sydney is called Star Hair and Beauty and has extensive hours (being in the casino helps) 9am-8pm Mon -Sat and even open Sunday 9am-6pm, so would be very handy for fix-ups!

I have had my balayage done a few times and I keep going back to Bryoni’s Salon in North Bondi. I’ve sent a few friends there, too – each with different shades to start with – and they’ve come out extremely happy with their hair.
