I too am thinking of going a new colour, I was gradually stripping years of black out over the last 6 months and went ombre for summer, my hair is a little dull and frazzled now 🙁 I’ve been looking at nice rich chocolate browns or reddish brown…. I have a weird addiction to having black hair and always want to go back to it because its so shiny and easy to maintain…. I just want some warmth to my hair this autumn/winter! 😛

I dance between cool browns and reddish browns…it’s a difficult decision!

I’ve just coloured mine to a cool dark brown. I decided not to have any undertones this time and I don’t suit black hair. I definitely feel like I made a good decision.

I’m the same! I used to dye my hair burgundy and auburn…sometimes black. But black was too harsh and red hair brought out the redness in my skin so I’ve been having cool dark brown too.

I can’t get blonde highlights either as I dyed my hair with henna when I was pregnant and my hair would melt 🙁 limited options!

If you like to change hair color often, pay attention to the categories of hair dye, there are three groups: the first contain neither ammonia nor peroxide, go after some shampoo and lightly color the hair but can not clear up.
The second group contains a small percentage of peroxide can therefore slightly clear hair and cover up to 50% white hair. The hair is slightly sensitized.
The third group can contain ammonia + peroxide (not always Ammonia) covers up to 100% white hair to lighten and super-clear natural hair up to five tones. But for the latter group must be taken to abrupt change, especially if the next clouleur is clearer: it will strip the hair before applying the new grade

I’m wanting some hair trends for this coming winter too! I jumped on the black hair bandwagon November last year and I’m just about ready to give it a change.
