Hi beauties,
Was out shopping with another BH friend of mine a few weeks ago and we tried lots of different samples of perfume. I got 3 samples and forgot about them in my bag.
Was surprised as the scent was really nice, they were Si, boyances burn, and Elizabeth Arden’s untold. Very unbrothel like scent that I thought would mind making that up.
Have you done the same? What smelt great? And what didn’t?
I’m so jealous you got a sample of Giorgio Armani’s Si!
It is such a beautiful scent and currently at the top of my wish list along side Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb.
Beyonce’s new scent is quite nice as well and I love the flacon it comes in. I don’t think I have tried the new Elizabeth Arden scent yet though.
I didn’t like Si. I was at Armani’s counter and the MUA sprayed some on me. It was nice initially, but after a hour or so, I hated it. Hubby didn’t like it either.
I bought Miss Dior after trying the sample. Same with my Jo Malone. They are just lovely and generous with the samples. Mecca gave me few samples by spraying them on cotton inside a container. Very weird.
I think Si is one of those perfumes that you either love or hate; I personally love it and my boyfriend does too, thank goodness! It’s my signature fall scent but I find that I tend to like scents that not many people like. I wonder if it’s reverse psychology acting on me there!
I’m not a fan of EA’s Untold or Beyonce’s perfume but fragrance is a very personal thing 🙂
True. It’s definitely one of those. I really wanted to like it as it smells lovely on tester. But on my skin, it just doesn’t work. Way too strong and headache-inducing. That’s why I prefer trying out samples before buying a perfume now. I’ve finally learned that just because it smells nice on others, doesn’t mean it’ll smell the same on me.
