Clean – my new fragrance obsession!

Disclaimer – I’m about to rave about a brand you can only currently get at Sephora… sorry!

So I love my previous, humble fragrance collection (is 3 perfumes a collection?) but I don’t wear it everyday because it’s too much. That’s why I’m so excited to have discovered my new favourite fragrance brand – Clean!

It is exactly what it sounds like, soapy, baby powder fresh. Each of them are slightly different but they work together as well and you can layer them on top of eachother to make your own fragrance – it’s genius!

I bought a layering set of 5 of rollerballs for my sister, stole one of them back, purchased another rollerball of another one from the set and then bought a full size of one not available in rollerball! And I’m not done

These are the ones you can get in a “layering” rollerball set at Sephora for $35 (bargain!)

  • Air (the one I stole)
  • Skin (the one I bought)
  • Warm Cotton
  • Cool Cotton
  • White Woods

And these are the other ones I’ve smelt in store that I LOVE

  • Shower Fresh (I bought this in fullsize. It smells exactly like the name)
  • Fresh Laundry
  • Rain
  • Summer Sailing

If anyone is in Sydney or Melbourne (once Sephora opens), do not miss out on this brand! Most of the fragrances are even available in individual rollerballs at their Rollerball Boutique (which is adorable PS)

I am also becoming increasingly obsessed with clean smelling fragrances. It all started with my deodorant, I just love the clean scent of the Rexona Cotton Fresh- I thought I was weird, but I’m so glad to hear I’m not alone!
I’m definitely going to try these fragrances next time I’m in Sephora.
I agree with Steph Steph, I think maybe you might like the Philosophy fragrances- Amazing Grace, Pure Grace and Living Grace.
There is also a brand that is similar to the Clean brand you are posting about, Demeter, they are a New York based company and they have a huge range of linear fragrances that you can wear on their own or layer to make your own signature scent.
They have scents such as Clean, Baby Powder, Snow, Sunshine, Laundry Powder, just to name a few, but they also have Pizza, Playdough, Cut Grass and Lettuce. LOL
I stand at the counter sniffing them for what feels like hours. Anyway I’m looking forward to smelling the Clean range and then comparing them. Thanks for the post!!!!

I’ve heard of Clean but I’ve never tried it. Wow you gals make it sound wonderful. I agree with Steph Speth on spraying the testers on your skin. Then you can smell then at different time intervals and make sure you’re happy before you buy. I can’t wait to try them!

Smelling good is like my only goal in life (jokes but it’s a pretty high priority, up there with being fed).

I will have to go back to Sephora and give these another whiff because I was there a few months ago sniffing these…well, trying to sniff them but I couldn’t detect a thing. I think it was because the testers were nearly empty but the concept of simple perfumes did intrigue me (so cool that you can layer them and smell slightly diff every time) as I do get sick of powerful scents pretty quickly.

Cheers for the post Steph Speth 🙂

I received a sample of Clean Skin from US Sephora a couple of years back (when the Oz dollar was still good and buying from them was reasonable… I miss those days!)

It was a strange thing for me though as it smelt of…. nothing at all? it was as if I’d just sprayed some water on me. I don’t know if I had a dud or maybe I just naturally smell wonderful lol. 😉

I’m definitely keen on trying some of the others based on your post. Just waiting for Sephora to come to Melbourne (and for the queues to die down first)! Thanks for the detailed info as I’m always on the hunt for new and interesting scents. 🙂

Ooohhhh girl, you’ve sold me on this scent! It sounds absolutely worth sniffing out! I’m adding it to my Sephora wish list and price seems reasonable too.

This reminds me of a soft fragrance I found in a soap in Singapore and I’ve kept the lonely last soap because I love the fragrance and haven’t found anything that comes close to it. And it was years ago too. That’s a mission for me, one day, I plan to take that soap into Myer or DJs and ask if they have something similar!

Enjoy your fragrance Steph Speth, it sounds delightful!!!!!!! I’m definitely checking it out when I get a chance, love insider info like this 🙂
