How to make my teeth whiter

Hi everyone! I’m a freelance writer and have decided to write an article about teeth whitening seeing as I have my wedding coming up in August and i’m really embarrassed about the color of my teeth. I’ve tried using teeth whitening toothpaste but it hasn’t made much difference. I’d really like to make my teeth look nice for my wedding day plus write an article on the topic to help others as well.

Can any one suggest the best way how to make your teeth whiter?

Thanks!

I use magnesium oil. It whitens my teeth, and my gums and teeth have never felt better.

Some good advice, I think everyone would like whiter teeth. I’d like to try the coconut oil pulling but don’t have time to do it for that long. Might try the bicarb soda or hydrogen peroxide instead.

After brushing with toothpaste apply a small pinch of bicarbonate of soda (baking powder) onto your toothbrush and brush for 1-2 minutes. This simple tip gives amazing results.

Try oil pulling with coconut oil!
If you’re unsure what oil pulling exactly is, it consists of pulling the toxins from your body/bacteria in your mouth (eg, bad breath). It can soothe headaches, whiten teeth, strengthening of the gums and teeth, reduces insomnia and generally just detoxifies the body.
Swish a teaspoon size of coconut oil (virgin coconut oil if possible) around your mouth for 20 minutes and spit out into a bin or toilet as the coconut oil can harden once it has cooled down and clog your sink drain/pipes. As a vivid tea, coffee and occasional Pepsi Max drinker, my teeth have yellowed over time. Oil pulling has done wonders for my teeth, they almost look like they’ve been bleached now! Hope this works out for you, yellowing of the teeth is such a body image confidence killer 🙁

thanks for sharing darceyb… I have been reading so many articles lately about oil pulling with coconut oil. I only use coconut oil for cooking now so have some laying around the house and tried pulling the other night but just didn’t like the experience. I could barely do it for 2 minutes let alone 20. The consistency is thick and while it doesnt taste like anything really (coz I am so used to the taste) I found it a little unpleasant. Probably because it was my first go and I think I used too much.

A quick question for you…. How long did it take for you to notice results and see your teeth get whiter???

I had started oil pulling a month back and trust me the results are really good.
My teeth have become whiter and plaugue had decreased considerably. Plus side is coconut oil is very healthy. My teeth surface was slightly rough due to braces and prone to getting cavities due to gaps. But now they are cleaner and whiter. The best thing is its natural. Im personally very happy with the results 🙂

Yes Nams3010 Thats exactly how I feel, natural is always best. My coconut oil has solidified in the cooler weather recently so that might be a bit of an issue.

Thank you so much for your reply, I am glad you are having such positive results with coconut oil.

I got a treatment from my dentist, my health fund covered most of the cost. The dentist made a mold of my teeth. I had to wear this overnight for a couple of weeks. It was a little uncomfortable but worth it for the fantastic results
