Dentist you Trust in Sydney for Crown?

Hey everyone. I got a root canal done on my front tooth a year ago, all good, looks alright in X-rays now. Didn’t have a crown put on it then because of cost, and didn’t really trust the dentist.

One year on, I still don’t have a dentist I trust that’s not asking for $1000 over what my private health insurance covers for a crown. I have had two dentists saying I might be able to get away with no crown on the tooth as long as I’m careful with it.

But does anyone have any crown experiences with dentists in Sydney that they’re happy with? Would love to know.

Ah. It went well, but it wasn’t done all by the book. The dentist didn’t use a dental dam (but from what I’ve experienced, not many dentists do, actually..), and a few dentists mentioned in future X-rays that he filled the gutta percha a little high than they would do. I suspect that he’s experienced but a little older so possibly techniques a bit old-school. Also, he’s not that close to where I live and not that cheap.

I know how you feel Reiyel. My son has an oral ops coming and its 1000 and may get some back . Hence, beauty purchases are on a stop for now … If the root canal went well, why don’t you trust him ..bit confused ??
