Willl My Boobs Sag When I Get off Birth Control?

I have been using Implanon for almost a year, with somewhat of a love-hate relationship because until the beginning of this year it made my periods veryyy irregular.
However, it also made me go from a B cup to a C cup 😀 😀 😀 now my boobs are proportioned to my body better!
I’m really worried that when I stop taking it though that my boobs will shrink and sag, because I did get stretch marks on them from growth. Has anyone had this experience?

This thread made me sad to read. Boobs are naturally going to sag due to ageing and gravity, weight loss and plenty of other reasons. It’s not necessarily age-based. You can have saggy boobs at age 20. But you’re more likely to have saggi-ER boobs after having kids or after a certain age. Or if you have large boobs, as I’ve found, they are saggy pretty early on due to the weight of them. Let’s embrace saggy boobs!

I have a friend who have always wanted to have bigger boobs. The takes these pills but her boobs are still the same. I guess this ‘growing thing’ happens only for a few people. She is now getting a breast enlargement surgery at the Cosmetic Breast Surgery Centre in Ontario.
Coming to the topic, I have read that there are chances of the breasts reducing in their size by a tiny bit when the pills are stopped. But still it won’t be a significant change, just a tiny bit difference in the breast size.

Ughh I know I worry too much.
But they’re valid worries I swear. I think.
I’m not really “active” sexually at the moment, as I haven’t been since winter, not that I’ve never been but I just realized my last period was two weeks ago. and I’m currently on my period and at day 7 or more…..Might have to get this thing out

About 40 is when collagen stops and it is different for everyone.
With respect Danniro, unless there are major health concerns, I suggest at your age you stop worrying so much.

I agree! You’re young and beautiful.. Enjoy it! Worrying about all the little things is probably the worst thing for you 🙂

Totally agree…and this is coming from someone who is prone to being a worry-wart. :o) It gets you nowhere, trust me.

They won’t sag, they will just return to their normal size. Now that you are having the implanon removed please remember alternative contraception. It’s important if you’re going to be sexually active that you start the pill or the depot straight after coming off the implanon. Also, unless you are in a committed, monogamous relationship please practice safe sex.

But they say your body stops producing collagen at 22.. or is it 24?
Although I’m only almost 20 but I feel like I already have signs of aging….
