what’s a good ‘family’ body moisturiser?

I’m looking for a good daily body lotion, something that would suit family use – I have a teenage son and daughter and my son in particular has started to get quite dry arms. Any ideas? I would prefer something I can get from the supermarket.

Redwin sorbolene cream, fragrance free easily absorbed and very moisturising. Comes in different pack sizes as well and is affordable. Also good for sensitive skin.

I would also recommend an oil for dry skin, not necessarily a cream moisturiser. I have been using the Go-To Exceptionoil for almost 12 months now and it has made an incredible difference to dry skin and my dermatitis. Definitely something to consider!

Aveeno is really good. I have sensitive skin, other family members have dry skin and it works well for all of us. If I feel my skin is too dry and itchy, once I applied this, the itchiness gone within hours and never iritated my skin too.

I’m another who swears by Aveeno – great stuff. Agree with the others re the Redwin sorbelene too as it’s great value for money.

Aveeno is excellent, probably the best I’ve used. A very effective, non-irritating moisturiser.

Vaseline Intensive Care. They sell it in those huge pump packs, and I keep one on my desk, one beside my bed, and one at my partner’s house at all times! Friends say the smell reminds them of me 🙂

Definitely Redwin-Sorbolene! Its cheap and does the trick. And heavy enough to be used in winter too. i also use Vaseline ( aloe vera) for summer.

I have terrible skin, it’s like it doesn’t hold any moisture at all and because of this I get eczema.
I’ve tried a lot of body lotions and the one I keep going back to is Nourish naturals dry skin lotion.
I apply it after every shower when my skin is still damp
and I use moogoo or tamanu oil on any areas with eczema 🙂

I like QV if it’s for the entire family because it doesn’t have a fragrance and its gentle too. QV is excellent for sensitive skin and the big 1 or 1.25 litre is a good price at Chemist Warehouse or in Priceline.

I always use sorboline, vaseline or qv creams. QV is especially good for eczema and I find that it’s great to use in both winter and summer
