Trimming Female Pubic Hair

I had been debating a while. I decided to trim my pubic hair. It was so long and curly andd wild and I liked it how it was except for the fact that it used to stick out of anything short and the sides of my knickers which was awkward.

I trimmed it last night after my showeer, and haven’t had a shower yet tonight. I cut it so its about an inch long all over, though i cut some bits around the edges to about 1/2 an inch long and there are a few random strands i missed that are about 1 and 1/2 inches long. It looks okay i guess, I’m no hairdresser, but it’s really itchy.

So i was wondering if anyone has any pointers for grooming hair down there? do you wash it with anything after? how long does the itchy feeling last? how long does it take to grow back?

No i don’t want to wax or shave. and Incase anyone was wondering. I’m a virgin who has no boyfriend so i’m not really thinking about anyone, but myself at this point lol

When you trim you need to wash it’s like a hair cut you always have a shower ASAP as the strays are irritating .

Just a normal groomer that men use for crew cuts is good. I use this in winter and do waxes in summer

There are some reasonably priced trimmers available nowadays that won’t cost a fortune. I highly recommend going to a shop that specialises in personal grooming like ”The Shaver Shop’.

i dont wanna go super short tho. i kinda like that its longer.

I’m really confused at this forum. Is this for real forum… Not go shorter? Darling, you just need to work on the sides clean it up and look decent. Just trim it and keep the bikini line simple. If you really can’t do anything else get a shaver.

*Twentysomething:* for one thing, where the hell are you from that you’re talking in inches? Give us centimetres next time. I think the problem is that you didn’t cut the hair short enough. You need to either keep it trimmed so that it’s too short to bend back on itself & stick into your skin when you put on your knickers, or let it grow long again.

I’ve had a Brazilian laser job & I love it, but to each their own.

Well I would say that why don’t you go with the permanent hair removal solution??
