Thighs Rubbing and Slight Excess Fat

Now that the weather is getting warmer here I’m remembering again my constant fight against my thighs! They rub up a storm together, and I get these pimples bumps and it itches so bad! I am going to try a store bought remedy though.
I’ve been trying to work out more because I have put on about 10 extra pounds, but has anyone had sex with making their thighs rub less? Or just targeting areas for weight loss?

Thanks everyone! Have some new methods to try.
I wish I could reduce my thigh size but for the most part they are just big and muscular. Of course there is a good bit of extra fat on them but at the moment I am only about 10 pounds overweight and I’m pretty sure even when I was 15-20 pounds lighter my thighs chaffed 🙁

Curash really does work for this issue. My hubby had used it for years because he was really overweight and always ended up with a sore rash from rubbing/chafing. He’s since lost a lot of weight and doesn’t have this problem anymore. But it also comes down to the kind of pants you’re wearing, etc if they let your skin breathe or not, or if you just stay hot n sweaty. Obviously if it’s a skirt then you just need the Curash. But try regular lotion first and see how that goes for you if you like 🙂

    “burst bees” lol

I have had some success with Jojoba Oil and friend swears by Aloe Vera extract. Think it is horses for courses and everybody has there own solution that works for them. Unfortunately the best solution is probably reducing thigh size. Think I will stick to the oil rather than the increased exercise and diet changes for now 🙂

Spammers have bumped this thread. Annoying, but I’ve got a solution.
I’ve got chubby thighs, I slather lotion on. Any old stuff – scented or not.
When I say slather lotion on – I’m talking a good sized dollop, smear it from just below your crotch to about halfway down the thigh. Don’t rub in too rigorously. I wear skirts almost every day, all year round & I only get a problem if I don’t slap on some cream.

*misfortune8*, your post gave me a huge giggle. In fact, most of your posts make me laugh. Thank you so much! (I’ve reported the spammers in this thread.)

Oh *Petal* you bugger! Did you think I was joking?
I really do this! It’s the _only_ reason I don’t get sweat rash. I had an overweight friend who wouldn’t wear skirts in summer because she’d get a sweat rash on her thighs – she’s lost weight now.
This really works I swear! I feel like the boy who cried wolf now. Do I take the piss so often that everything I say you take in jest?
BTW, I didn’t quite get the original question regarding ‘has anyone had sex with making their thighs rub less’. That one stumped me. When I have sex there’s usually somebody else between my thighs – & quite a bit of rubbing. I wouldn’t slap on any cream in _that_ situation – he’d slide off!

Oh gosh, that was a spelling error I think, wow….I think I meant success…

    Hahaha!
I was pondering that one for a while I can tell you!
So … “has anyone had success with making their thighs rub less.” That makes sense. It’s that damn autocorrect, someone in another thread referred to ‘burst bees’ instead of Burt’s bees. If the mistype is an actual word, there’s no red line to draw your attention to it.

Also I have been using baby powder which only works for a bit depending on how warm it is and how much I sweat. I’ll try you lotion idea thanks!

STOP USING BABY POWDER!! It’s great everywhere else, but it’s abrasive as hell if you’ve got a thigh rubbing problem.

I know this is going to sound really weird but if you do have chaffing try Curash (you can find it in the baby aisle of the supermarket). It works!

You can buy underwear to help with this. Kind of like bike shorts but prettier and more feminine.

I use shape-wear to prevent chaffing, the sort which cover thighs and waist. This also has the added benefit of smoothing my figure. I find that tights and pantyhose also work.
