Should i actually go with a nose job?

I am really disatisfied with my nose because it seems like it catches too much attention than i would have liked. but i am also aware of the risks and all. and i know the change will be permanent. i don’t know im just confused now, but im constantly reminded of it everytime i face the mirror.

    Personal experience
I have a big nose-fact. Who notices this – just me. In my teens I was aware of “big nose”, but luckily did not do anything anything about it. In teens and 20s girls think everyone is looking at their “flaws”. Later when you mentally mature, you realize it was only in your head. I boosted my confidence by joking at the size of my nose and people would be puzzled why I think that I have nose out of proportion. I have long rectangle face, and tiny button Hollywood-style fake noses would look terribly alien on me. Please do not rush with your decisions!
I inherited my nose from my grandma who had the biggest heart in the world! If I was stupid enough to change my nose in my 20s I would regret it to the rest of my life! I would lose her caring, pure, full of love, soul from myself…Now I look myself in the mirror, or in the photos, and see all that. Pure beauty
I still joke how “nosy” I am, because reality is I really need to know everything! People do Google me when wifi is unavailable lol

I love your point of view. What a beautiful perspective you have. I hope you are able to share your self acceptance with many. We really don’t need to conform to societies ideals and are all created uniquely beautiful.

as long as you do your research against the pros and cons.. and if you are going to be unhappy with how you look then why not. i would rather a nose job as it is not a drastic body change, it will enhance the features you already have.

You should speak to a Doctor/surgeon and a counselor or psychiatrist to see if your mentally ready for the change. Its a big physical change and I don’t think the words of strangers on the internet should sway your opinion on this. Its your life and your happiness in the end 🙂

I hope the confusion ends soon and you find the answer you are looking for, good luck!!

I think when you are ready to have cosmetic surgery you will know, I’ve had an issue with my ears since I was young and in the last 12 months I have decided that it’s time for me to do something about it, I don’t change my mind, or wonder if it’s the right thing at any time, I know, in my heart, that it’s what I want and I am going to do it.

I’m in the money saving phase at the moment, next will be researching my surgeon options and finding the one who feels right for me.

If you’re not sure, don’t do it, wait until you know it’s what you need for yourself. I went from talking to people about it and getting their opinions (which were always ‘there’s nothing wrong with your ears’, I have great friends and family, they don’t care how I look hahah), to telling them that I was going to do it and asking the appropriate people if they would be willing to help me through the short recovery phase and coming with me to appointments, I think even they knew that it was something I was set on doing and instead of trying to talk me out of it they accepted my decision and got on the support bandwagon.

You will know when you’re ready, wait until that day comes and don’t do it a moment sooner.

If it’s really what you want, can accept that your nose may not end up how you want and you can afford it… Why not? It couldn’t hurt to have a consultation. Just do your research.

If you do decide to, make sure you do your research and find a good doctor. Don’t go with a cheaper option because as you said it’s permanent. I think if you do your research and way up the pro’s and cons and you want to go for it then you should! A friend of mine had her underbite surgically corrected and it’s changed her life, she’s a lot more confident now. If it’s going to make you feel better about yourself and stop you being down on yourself then you should definitely go for it!! Xoxox
