Need some basic stretchy cotton undies… STAT!

So this is the dilemma: trying to find replacement underwear when your store no longer stocks your favourites. I typically go to Big W, Target or sometimes KMart to stock up on the usual cotton undies with a little bit of stretch. Nothing fancy, just your everyday bottoms you can wear wherever, or at night time. Now all the stores have gone and gotten rid of my favourites.

I recently went to Target and even tried Trade Secret, trying the invisible line style underwear. Sure, they’re nice in theory, but by the end of the day they feel like rough riders.

I prefer the boy short style for the rear but I really do not want to camel toe my front deliberately, particularly when, despite my best efforts, the new and more expensive ‘comfortable’ panties just want to go up there. I must have looked a treat walking through the CBD exercising the atypical male ‘pinch and roll’ exercise, trying to extract material from my front. Not attractive, and definitely not comfortable.

So I put this to you all. Please (I am so sincere, please) tell me where I can find some good old fashioned basic underwear, at a decent price (as I will be buying in bulk), that offers multiple styles (high cut, regular, boy / Brazilian short, full, G-string) in your basic colours. My labia can’t take the external pressure (oh, unless I want it to).

I really like the Best and Less undies, so comfortable and budget friendly

Yes, I wasn’t impressed with the drop in quality in the KMart bottoms. I ended up going back to Trade Secret, found a hidden sale rack and found seven pairs of different Bonds underwear for $9! Unfortunately they were all fluorescent however beggars can’t be choosers. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for some black, white and bone coloured ones but this will keep my bum covered in the interim!

I’m with Hayley644. Bonds is the way to go. I usually get them when either Bonds themselves or Target are having a sale. Especially when its a 5 for $?? sale.

I work at a Kmart and I have noticed that they have changed the style of the underwear and I also find that they aren’t what they used to be.

tuDuckling, I usually get mine fromTarget and for everyday wear, I usually buy the ones in a multipack. I think either $10-12 for 5. They change the names or patterns but these are everyday cotton ones in Target. Comfortable!

So, have you looked at Target online or have they completely stopped stocking / making the ones you wear?

Not sure, but Myer or DJ’s maybe? A bigger store may have more choice or you can ask the SA if they have what you want. They’re pretty resourceful at times.

Any outlet stores near your place may have them in certain underwear shops, like the big DFOs.

Bonds Undies – often on sale at Target, Big W and sometimes Coles or Woolies. I think target have 30% off at the moment. Come in a range of styles.
