Thermomix

I know this is not strictly beauty related. But seeing as beauty starts from within and this tool promotes eating from scratch along with efficiency etc…

I was wondering who has a Thermomix?
Do you like it, hate it, love it, take it or leave it?
How often do you use it?
Any other feedback? 🙂

The reviews are great, but since I already have great appliances which can do all that the Thermomix does, albeit it does it on it’s own unlike my individual items I don’t feel the benefit of it would balance out financially??

OMGOSH yes I loved the Katering shows review of the theromix. So so funny.
My sister in law just got one for herself and she loves it. Also I know there are a few theromix bloggers/ theromix recipe inventors out there with facebook pages etc. Its getting a lot of attention.

Have you guys seen the review of this on youtube by the katering show. They’re a comedy duo – check out the video. It’s hilarious! I don’t even like cooking or have any interest in the thermomix but I loved the video.

Careful, the language is not safe for work or delicate ears.

Yeah I have seen one in action and it seems pretty special but I also don’t cook enough or have kids to justify dropping $2k on a kitchen appliance. I’m also happy with packet jam, icecream, sauce, dips etc because I’m lazy.

Bobbin you posted the link to the video, good on you! I just watched it again – still hilarious! Hot wet rice!!!

I’ve had mine for a month now….. And I’m in love! It certainly has made my life a lot easier with the kids. But, the cook book that comes with it uses a lot of oil, or cream, or butter in the recipes. I now use the recipe community more, just to find alternatives to these ingredients.

My mother has one, and she uses it all the time. I haven’t bothered to learn to use it, but my thirteen year old uses it with ease. My mother is always recommending it to anyone she sees, haha. It does everything. 30 minutes and you have jam. A few seconds and you can change raw sugar from icing sugar.

My niece doesn’t have a Thermomix she has a Berlinni (not sure of the spelling). You can even cook some things in it.

Sorry under 500 not 100. It would be a very good bargain.
