Hello a few questions today from me, you’re all probably sick of my questions haha ;p
Has anyone used the 88 palettes from ebay? are they pretty good?

and also does anyone have links to ebay sellers who sell authentic makeup you cant get in country towns and the normal shops like kmart?
I dont want to get fake benefit or anything, I want the real thing :D
I’ve found a shop for polishes like opi and orly and whatnot now I just need makeup

Yep I’ve tried them! They are ok but lots are shimmery colours and some are quite chalky. I prefer matte shades. They are a good buy if you are just starting out and need lots of colours to try but you can definately get better shadows elsewhere.

I love shopping straight from the Benefit website! They frequently offer you promo codes if you sign up to their mailing list. Sometimes they offer discounts and full size/deluxe sample freebies with your order.

Buying direct from Benefit is the best! I have gotten a free fullsize product each time I have ordered plus free shipping for orders over $125. Only downside is shipping time – around 4 weeks but the savings are worth it!

The longest I have waited was 2 weeks. The quickest was one week. Just depends on your area and how quick it goes out I guess as Anerica is a day behind and there postal service is 6 days a week.

I wouldn’t recommend buying Benefit makeup off ebay. There are many fakes out there (many listed super cheap $0.99) and you can find vidz on this on YouTube. Agree with PrettyPrincess and Stephie – buy directly from Benefit US. Prices are cheaper compared to Aust and you get free samples ;p

I have the 96 palette off ebay and it’s crap. I like vibrant colours and the colours barely show up on my eyes. I got an amazing one from Groove though, beautiful colours!

me too.. I have the 88 matte, 88 warm/neutral and 88 shimmer.
I was pretty disappointed as I’d heard all these great things about them. I find the 88 matte and warm/neutral palette VERY difficult to work with. the shimmer is better but not that great.
it looks amazing when you swatch with your finger, but I find when I actually go to use it with a brush I can hardly pick up any colour at all.
I have tried them wet too, which does make them better but who wants to have to wash your eye brushes after every use because the eyeshadow gets stuck in the bristles and can’t simply be dusted out ____
also I find even with primer they wear off very fast.

I do have an 88 shimmer palette that I bought recently…it’s probably the same thing as I can’t see any specific maker/manufacturer. It’s pretty good, though, I have been getting some great looks with them.

I usually apply it over my eyeshadow primer (UDPP) and use a brush. I normally get really good pigmentation and they tend to last at least 10-12 hours without disappearing.

Buy BeneFit from their US site. Products are half the price that you pay over here and you get free shipping once you spend over $125 and you get to chose a few free samples.

It’s too risky buying BeneFit from Ebay – lots of fakes.

I only buy drug store makeup from ebay, not high end. High end I buy direct from the website or the store. I’m paranoid about getting a fake and having wasted my money.

I buy too faced shadow insurance off ebay and I’m positive it’s genuine.

I’ve bought some blushes from this seller. They seem pretty authentic to me but I don’t have anything to compare them to as I’ve only ever bought Mac foundation in store.

Kerastase Balancing Shampoo used once. Got sucked into buying at a hair salon along with mask.

By the way these are all authentic I’ve either bought the at Sephora, Mac counter or hair salon.

If you want a variety of higher end brands check out sephora/Nordstrom and use parcel forwarding services such as hop shop go or parcel it on.
