Annoying Video on right side of page

Hi guys….Im on limited highspeed and once my G’s are used for the month i go onto a slowed speed.
That ad on the right hand side of the page is so annoying and loads on auto so everytime i refresh the page in the forum that video is using up my G’s and then when im on slowed speed like now its making it extreemly hard to load the rest of the page becasue that video ad wants to dominate and it struggles to load so nothing else will work for ages.
is there something that can be done to stop the video playing on auto PLEASE????

OMG its driving me insane as well! i haven’t even thought about how much downloads its using up but we are unlimited, when we run out it just gets slower, so i guess it doesn’t really matter in that perspective, But yeah it driving me the crazy! i dont know if the revlon one is still there but that was driving me insane as well especially how it kept playing that voiceover. I didnt want to alert Bh, coz i thought they would get annoyed at me:/ i guess theres nothing we can do, i havent figured out how to stop the vid from playing yet:(

its driving me nuts aswell, the only solution ive found is to mute the sound, as for downloads, i have no idea. I’m actually so annoyed at it that i dont even want to hear the word “grow luscious” EVER again,and i will definitely not be purchasing it! i think its the keratinology one now? but in the last few days it was the growluscious, ugh so frustrating!

Sorry BH but i do agree its kinda annoying!
i understand how lovely the new mascara may be but i don’t want it scaring the hell out of me every time i load a page! We get capped at 200 and that is a lot of download but we seem to be using it quicker than normal but im sure the video wouldn’t have anything to do with it.

I want to strangle it. I’ve had to put my computer on mute arrrrrgh

It kept popping up for me even if I didn’t click on it! So annoying, especially since I was trying to listen to a podcast and I kept missing bits everytime the ‘New Revlon lash whatever blah blah blah’ kept starting up.

Especially bad when you are having a sneaky look at BH while at work!

You can block ads on your internet browser – but that means that you won’t see ads on all websites not just BH.

ARRRGHHH! I HATE THAT ANNOYING REVLON AD! I have to turn my sound off when i visit here. It just keeps randomly replaying itself. God, it was so annoying.

Oh I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one that was annoyed by this! I hate auto play anything, I figure if I want to watch it I’ll play it myself in my own time

Download ad blocker plus as an extension onto your browser – best thing ever. Once you have it, just roll your mouse over the video and on the top right hand side you should see the “Block…” and just click on it and it would ask you if you want to filter it.
One of the best add-ons you could get for your browser because it memorises ads you’ve blocked out.

Gee I missed all this – I have head phones permanently plugged into my computers both at work and at home in case I visit a website that’s plays music. I’m sure the bh team will take note of the feedback :-)

thank god someone mentioned this it has been driving me crazy for days!!! i didn’t want to say anything cause i know it’s an advertisement and you need them, but i wish it was silent. I am so glad it is gone, i kept having to turn down the sound and when i would press the link to go to the forum it would go to the revlon page. I was trying to watch youtube videos yesterday while on beautyheaven (i was multi tasking) because it kept going off i had to get out of beautyheaven when i would watch videos, very happy it’s gone.

Completely agree. I thought it was just me though. I’m glad that it seems to have changed now but I must agree that the high bandwidth ads have gotten more annoying as time goes on. I have no idea why it plays on it’s own, at times it even made it impossible to click the forum button from the home page.

Oh gosh… It was so annoying that I decided to only access Beaty heaven via my iPhone because I couldn’t stand it anymore!!!! Thank god it’s gone!

The Revlon ad was driving me absolutely insane! It may be petty, but I wont ever by the mascara because the ad has been annoying me so much!
At least it’s been replaced now.

I agree!! I would be browsing on other sites with BH open and all of a sudden noise would blare out of my speakers!! Scared the crap out of me!

I was away all day yesterday.
Was out getting the last of our Christmas stocking filler shopping sorted.
Glad to get back here and find the annoying video has gone and lovely to find that i wasnt the only one that was not impressed with it being there.

Yeah i was waiting in the office tow days ago for a client to show up so i decided to check out BH and all of a sudden the ad started blaring out of the speakers the second the client walked in, really annoying
