Hey Beauties, The past few months I have gained weight. I do know the reasons why. Too much Junk. In a week both John and I are going on Light and easy. John will be doing dinners only and ill be doing breakfast lunch and dinner. I know we wont be on it for ever and I know that if I go straight from light and easy and back to my normal I will gain so much. But I also am going to learn how to eat well. We worked it out and it cost more to get normal shopping. Also me not going to the supermarket I wont have the Temptations. Has anyone tried it and what do you think? XXXXX |

I personally haven’t tried these but friends of mine have and have had good results. Their comments are that it is convenient and fits into their life style. The only negative I have heard is that sometimes the fruit they provide is still too green to eat. Good luck with your weight loss it’s a challenge especially if like me you have a sweet tooth…show me the cakes ..yummy!! |

I dont know anyone who has tried it but it sounds convenient…. hubby has been trying to loose weight in the past with shakes and they rnt the best way for him so he went to the drs and now is on prescription for 3 – 6 months on duromine….it costs $140 for 1 months prescription but hopefully he will get the results he needs and will be happy afterwards… goodluck with lite n easy! I did suggest that to my hubby to try to so id like to hear how that works out. |

I hate having a sweet tooth. I get that from dads side lol As mum does not eat sweets and my brother hates it. John is also not a big fan. Its very convenient as im getting home between 6 and 7. Then make dinner and go ro a long walk. I want to go for walks everyday and take dusty with us. Like tonight we went to the beach for a good hour :) felt good afterwards. Also I skip breakfast sometimes becuase we hardly have any breakfast items here. I also like the fact that your not eating the same things every single week and we are huge pasta fans (well I am). I was going to do the shakes but just thought eating 3 meals a day would be so much better and I will also feel a lot better too. Atm im about 90k but feel like im 300k. |

Light and easy is great. The meals are tasty and so easy to “cook.” but there are some things to remember… check out the nutritional value even though it is “diet” food, some of the meals are still close to 500 calories. And if you are only supposed to be on a 1500 calorie diet, that is a third of you days calories. Also check out their sugar and fat content. a lot of diet food is high in sugar and salt, especially the packaged foods. Make sure you have healthy snacks in the house in case you feel hungry or are a emotional eater. My hubby had to buy twice as many dinners because he is tall and thin and one dinner left him hungry. Remember that drinks are included in your daily calories. You might be doing great with your food, but aren’t losing weight because of soft drinks, cordial, alcohol, etc The food is really yummy, but if you are used to lots of sugar and salt, you can’t expect to stop overnight. Sugar is like a drug. Have a treat or you will go insane and only think about food. Instead of just stopping LNE, stop with one meal and continue with the other 2, then go down to one. Try to incorporate physical exercise, even if it is just walking. While food is 95% the way to control ,exercise is important too. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will be. On thing my hubby and I did was have one dinner night that wasn’t LNE. Either we went out for dinner or cooked something different. It doesn’t have to be a “treat” meal. It just breaks up the week. Maybe try out new healthy versions of your favourite foods instead on that day. Also it made it easier if we were going out with friends. You don’t want to rely on LNE so much that you won’t go out to eat or see friends. Or be a crazy person bringing your LNE to your friends lace while they have a different meal :) ohhh and try their spaghetti!! Its amazing ;)Goodluck. It really is a great program to go on. |

Husband and I were thinking of doing it but it actually worked out a lot more expensive for us than buying food. We have a 4 year old that still needs to eat “normal” food so can’t avoid the shopping.. But it sounds so convenient, no need to cook, it’s like heaven :P |

My sister tried Light n Easy for a week … she didn’t like it AT ALL! She said the food was pretty gross! :S I do have to admit tho that she is pretty picky when it comes to food. I’d suggest trying it like she did … just buy a couple days worth for you and hubby, and make sure you both try different meals to get a gage of what’s good and what isn’t?? |

I have been on it for a month now and really enjoy it managed to lose 6.5kg so far although that includes doing about 8-10 hrs a week of triathlon training.Since I am single it works well for me and the meals taste fine,it does show you how much you should be eating and is all calorie counted so easy to keep a track off..I am on the 1800 calorie plan.Hope that helps. I’ve heard weight watchers is a really, really good one too. It’s all about portion size and ‘points’, so you still get to eat what you want but you learn how much to eat and things like that. I’ve had friends who have had amazing results! I’m 60k at the moment, but I am meant to be around the 55k mark. I have the worlds biggest sweet tooth (and i love for all things bad like hungry jacks!) so i know how much of a struggle it is! I got my lazy butt out of bed at 6am to walk before work. I thought I’d die, but it felt pretty good! |

A few years back I had a student who was on it. He was a medical dr doing his masters of surgery in my lab so between doing experiments and working shifts at the hospital he got into really bad eating habbits. It was super convenient for him as it meant that he always had a decent meal on him and didnt have to rely on the crappy hospital cafeteria food. He needed to loose some weight though I dont think that he was being too serious about weight loss as, if the rest of us were going out for a milk shake, he would always join us. I think you can get fantastic result from it, you just need to be fairly disciplined and not have crappy snacks between meals. |

I’ve also heard good things about lite and easy, the lunches are great especially for this time of year when work starts to ramp up in business and you get really busy, seems very convienient for that. I wish I could get it but I live in the sticks so they charge a pretty hefty delivery surcharge |

We had to stop it as when its bill month gas, water and electricity we don’t have the $170 a week. So me and my Aunt are going to start weight watchers tonight. The food was great we both love it. There was only 3 items I did not like. I do wish I could keep doing it but $170 compared to $15 a week. I’m a little iffy about the whole counting and points system as I’m not that type of person. |
