Tips for pushing back toenail cuticles

There is a right and a wrong way to maintain your toenail cuticles. You should never, we repeat: never, cut your toenail cuticles, as it can promote toenail infection. Instead, invest in a cuticle stick, like Manicare’s Cuticle Sticks and use the tapered end of the stick to gently push the cuticle back towards the nail bed. Resist the temptation to pick and dig, which will inflame and irritate nails. For healthy natural nails, replace your cuticle stick after every use.

I had a pedicure last week (the first in many months) at a new beauty place and my toenail cuticles were cut.! I've had no problems but I will ask if this is needed next time I attend this buisness.

I like removing my toenail cuticles after a shower because they are just so soft and it is so much easier to remove them. ALL OF THEM!

Good tips! If you have trouble you can also use a chemical cuticle remover like the one by Sally Hansen.
