I was really excited when I received this toothpaste to trial, and have thoroughly enjoyed using Colgate's Advanced Clean for the past couple of weeks. I have been getting the whole family to trial this with me, for a family review. I must firstly say, I was really pleased from the first brush. My teeth felt lovely and clean, and the rest of the family agreed. over the weeks, we have noticed that our teeth are feeling extremely cleaned, polished and really white too. We also had our yearly dentist checkups in the middle of this trial, and when I asked them about the Advanced Clean, and told them how happy I am with the product, they totally agreed. The dentist was impressed with how everybody's teeth was looking so great. The only advice she gave me, was for the little one's must try not to swallow too much of the toothpaste, but aprt from that she gave me her full approval, so that made me feel really good. To add the Advanced Clean Toothpaste has a pleasant taste compaired to normal toothpaste. I am just so happy with this product, will definately be repurchasing again.

A bit to gritty
Being a smoker toothpaste is important to me, im always buying new and different brands trying to keep my teeth white and free from yellow staining.
As soon as product hit the shelves i bought it straight away. The first thing i noticed was the deep clean feeling my teeth had and being a smoker as i said my breath felt alot fresher for longer. The product had a lovely taste to it very minty, but the only thing i didnt like was the grittiness after a while im scared it will scratch the enamel on my teeth.

I love this, it definitely works and makes the teeth feel very smooth. The grittiness takes getting used to but I like it now.

I like the very clean feeling I get after using this toothpaste. I drink a lot of coffee and found my teeth to be a little whiter with this toothpaste than if I just used my regular one, I switched to this about a month ago.

A fresher kind of clean
I really enjoyed trailing this toothpaste - as i'm not a fan of the one my mum and sisters use! (i won't name names!) So i was very happy to have my own to use. I actually LOVE brushing my teeth - the mintier the better.
I really felt that my mouth felt fresher for longer than when i'd used other toothpastes. A pleasure to brush with!

A Total Clean
Colgate Total Advanced Clean is designed to give teeth and gums a superior removing up to 98% of plaque build-up while providing 12 hours of anti-bacterial protection against plaque.
It took both a couple of goes before I liked this toothpaste. What initially put me off was the taste. I like very strong minty toothpaste. The stronger the better. My hubby don’t! He liked the taste of this one, and that it didn’t feel too strong. Although he did say that it was like an ‘explosion’ in his mouth, so clearly a lot stronger than what he normally uses.
After first clean, it made the teeth feel very clean and smooth, and with a nice breath. Hubby agreed. Next morning, hubby complained about a ‘stringy’ feeling in his mouth, as if his mouth had been ‘burned’ by the toothpaste – same feeling he gets when he uses my normal ‘strong’ toothpaste, which however still is a standard supermarket stocked item. He didn’t use it again.
While the taste grew on me, and I felt my teeth were clean and smooth, although I didn’t seem to notice it actually making them cleaner or whiter for that matter. But I have to say that the part I enjoyed the least, was gritty feel in my mouth, which took more than normal to wash away.
This is over all a very nice toothpaste – and while I am and probably always will, favouring minty flavoured toothpastes over this licoricey taste, I would definitely consider buying this again as a change to my normal toothpaste.

No complaints here!
My orthodontist give me this toothpaste every 6 weeks (I have braces) and it's pretty good! Nice flavour, my teeth feel clean and it's not overly harsh. Good stuff overall.

Better than average
The first time I used this toothpaste, I wasn't sure about the taste but it grew on me, and after a few days I found that I quite liked it.
I'm sure that it works better than the toothpaste that I was using before, which surprised me because I didn't think that there could really be much difference between one toothpaste and another.
The only downside is the gritty feel, which takes extra effort to get rid of when rinsing after brushing.
