Get the look: celebrity style for under $50 - page 3

You don’t need to be a millionaire to rock a celebrity style. In fact, the smarter (and thriftier!) ladies among us will tell you that you can easily achieve A-lister looks at a fraction of the cost simply by swapping a Chanel lippy for some tinted Chapstick.
If you’re feeling frugal at this time of year, yet utterly inspired by some of the red-carpet beauty you’ve seen come out of Tinsel Town, there is an answer. Follow our guide and we’ll help you recreate some of the hottest celebrity hair and beauty looks this season, all for under $50.

Straight and sassy with Kendall Jenner
The younger Jenner/Kardashian kid has obviously gained a few style notes from her older siblings – her make-up is looking very similar to Kim’s signature style, but we love it on the little tyke!
Make-up
Kendall has opted for a really nude look, with defined eyes in this shot. To get the look at home, you’ll need a foundation that will go the distance, but not be too heavy (especially on young skin that’s prone to breakouts!) We suggest BYS Minerals Naturalè Loose Powder Foundation because it doesn’t contain any of the nasties, such as preservatives or parabens that are known to clog pores.
Next, take to your cheeks with a light dusting of bronzer to help contour your cheekbones. We love Ulta3 The Big Bronzer for it’s light reflecting pearl pigments that complement Kendall’s bare complexion.
The finishing touch for this look is defining the eyes. For help with this, we love essence 2 in 1 Kajal Pencil, as the black liner applied to the inner rim of your eyes makes the eyes stand out from the face, while the white liner at the other end helps to create an eye-catching contrast when smudged over the entire lid.
Hair
Kendall’s super-straight locks are glossy and very healthy looking. To achieve the look for yourself, you’ll need a straightening balm that also strengthens the hair too. Clairol Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Leave In Treatment is great as it works to restore moisture loss and strengthen hair. To use, apply this to damp hair and allow to dry naturally.
Once your mane is dry, take to it with a straightening iron from root to tip, flicking the ends for a bit of movement in the bottom half of the hair. Our pick for poker straight locks is the VS Sassoon miniPRO™ Ceramic Straightener VSCS56A (S1002), because of its smooth ceramic plates and quick heat-up time.
Total = $52.34

I have a light wave in my hair but if i was going out i like to straighten my hair, the curly look just doesn't work with me.

I always have my curly hair straightened for a big event. It often surprises people because they say I look completely different and that is the effect I want!

My hair is dead straight, even when I try to curl it by the end of the day it tends to straighten up! I liked adding waves to my hair, but now that I've got short hair I keep it straight.

I've always wanted to have soft curls in my hair but I'm not really one to spend hours doing my hair. I would love to get it done at the hairdressers one day...

I like a bit of curl but can't for the life of me do it myself, so straight works for me just fine.

I used to straighten it, but I have really gotten into curling it and I think it's so much more fun!

Wow, I used to watch their show and the last time I saw her she was 11/12 years old. She has certainly grown up and I love the make-up she has done.
For me it's half straight.

Straight is always a safe option for me. If I have time I'll try a curl... but at the end of the day I always know my straightener can save any curl disaster and make me look great :)

This is a yes/no look too. I think curly hair for big events but usually I do my own hair so I end up straightening it.

Straight, although I would love to have curls, just had a bad perm experience back in the eighties so not willing to risk it again, haha. I love this look, definitely something I would go for :)

My hair is fairly straight naturally so for special events I usually curl it for something different to what I do everyday.

I always love soft curls but by the end of the day, no matter how much hair product I use they disappear :(

Straight hair, all the way. I like her nude lip but I think the under eye eyeliner is a bit too excessive.

I don't have a choice - my hair is straight and won't hold a curl - so it's straight for me!

I prefer to wear my natural curls to big events as that works well for me and requires little effort. Yet, I think straight hair is also a stylish look. : )

I do like this look with the nude lips & lined pretty eyes. With normal day to day dead straight hair it's nice to make it curly for a special occasion.

I prefer straight hair for going out and curly/wavy hair for casual events. I really like Kendall's look!

I prefer to wear my hair straight to big events as my hair is not quite straight and not quite curly. If left natural it looks like I have just gotten out of bed and not bothered to brush my hair.
There is good bed head and bad bed head, mine naturally looks like bad bed head.

I usually always have straight hair because i'm style challenged, lol. But using the touselle me softly range has shown me curls etc are posiible and now I am more confident to try waves, curls etc. So once i masterit my hair will be striaght or curled depending on the outfit and occasion!
