She may be the ex-Mrs Reynolds, but ScarJo looks every bit the fresh, strong and independent woman on the red carpet for her new flick The Avengers in London last week.

Not only is she sporting one heck of a milkmaid braid (ding ding ding! Hair with creative flair gets top marks from me), she’s also embracing a bold red lip and a sexy shimmery eye that makes me want to scrap today’s natural eye and pink lip combo and tap into a piece of this pretty action.

Too often we’re seeing celebrities flaunting brushed-out curls and simple ponytails – or playing it safe with a smoky eye and a nude lip. So when someone really bites the bullet and strives to stand out from the crowd – well, I pin it as a look worth copying, don’t you?

Get this look:

Fasten the end when you reach your start point and tuck the end underneath the braid.
