We all get stuck in a hair rut once in a while so we thought we’d serve you up some mid-year suggestions – really just the best of the best of the year to date. Well that was the plan anyway, but then we found so many styles that we adored from the last few months that it was impossible to rifle through snaps harking back to January.
So here it is, the current 10 top hairstyles that you should be sporting and a little at-home advice…
Bouffant up ‘do: Kate Walsh
The Private Practice star ticked all of our boxes with this sexy number at the FiFi Awards back in May. It’s got a bit of Bardot volume but is an updated and easy take on the classic French twist. It was styled by David Evangelista and the mahogany finger-styled look was perfectly complemented with a shimmering silver-lilac dress.
You’ll need: Goldwell Styling Volume Big Finish, L'Oréal Professionnel Tecni.art Volume Architect and a whole stack of bobby pins.
Brains and beauty – gotta love it.

I really like Kate Walsh, she always looks stylish and classy. I'd love to have my hair this colour but don't know if it would suit me????

I think this would work a lot better with some really strong, statement clothes, or contrasted well with soft pastels or flesh/nude tones; maybe without those gold earrings?

I'm liking the emphasis on height, but again I need some fringe-style things going on otherwise my forehead looks like an IMAX theatre screen!

Classy but it makes her look old! Not one I could pull off for at least another 30 years!!

I like this look, a bit of body and style yet still a little soft and undone looking.

Yep, that one would go with frizzy hair. How would it go with "silver" threads?

This style looks quite classy, but I would like to see the back of it. She looks very nice though. It has a soft, gentle feeling.
