Get the look: celebrity style for under $50

You don’t need to be a millionaire to rock a celebrity style. In fact, the smarter (and thriftier!) ladies among us will tell you that you can easily achieve A-lister looks at a fraction of the cost simply by swapping a Chanel lippy for some tinted Chapstick.
If you’re feeling frugal at this time of year, yet utterly inspired by some of the red-carpet beauty you’ve seen come out of Tinsel Town, there is an answer. Follow our guide and we’ll help you recreate some of the hottest celebrity hair and beauty looks this season, all for under $50.

Punchy colour chic with Camilla Belle
Camilla Belle is no stranger to mixing it up, and this coral hue on her lips is just further evidence that when it comes to looking good, Miss Belle has it down pat.
Make-up
The strong points here are Belle’s brows and lips, so make sure you put the most effort into making those stand out. First of all, take to the face with a foundation that will provide a good base. Mode Liquid Foundation is lightweight with a matte finish, so you won’t have to worry about being shiny!
Next, ensure your brows are groomed so that they create an attractive focal point. The essence Eyebrow Stylist Set includes two eyebrow powders, an applicator and three stencils, so you’ll get the perfect shape and shade, every time.
To finish this look, take to the pout with a sweep of Ulta3 Matte Lipstick in Orange Crush and you’re sure to be the Belle of the ball!
Hair
Belle’s classic up-do is perfect for the red carpet. To ensure your own ‘do sits as perfectly, apply a smoothing serum like TRESemmè Smoothing Crème to damp locks - this will make your mane easier to work with once dry.
From there you can either choose to curl the ends of your hair with a quick and easy tool like the Remington Curl it (CI519) or leave it with natural movement. To complete the look, simply tie your hair to the right side of your neck, twist into a messy bun and pin with bobby pins. We like Lady Jayne Bobby Pins – Pk 18.
Whole look = $45.59

Camilla looks gorgeous, but I don't think I could wear orange lips.

I normally opt for a soft pink lipstick but I just got the new Revlon Just Bitten lipstain in Flame, which is a orangy red colour (slightly deep hot pink on me) and it really looks great which I never expected. Now I"m more confident in trying bolder/different lipstick colours.

I love this look, but I often have trouble wearing lipstick. If I wear it I usually try and alter the size and shape of my upper lip with a lip pencil (as it's rather small) and then it appears more balanced with the bottom one. I really suit oranges though!

She's a pretty girl but she should of tried a different shade of lipstick, the coral is a bit of yes/no.

Yes, I do wear a bold lip with muted eyes, it is not my favourite look, but when I am pressed for time it saves me a lot of time!

Very striking look without being OTT. This year I vowed to actually start using all the makeup I own or just stop buying it! I have similar skin and hair tone to Camilla Belle and I would love to try this look but with a slightly lighter lip colour. I love a good coral in the summer time against tanned skin :)

Love the lips and her hair is so classy. Not something I would have thought would gel too well but it pops.
