Oh, to be cruising around the French Riviera right now, beauties. Not only would your eyes be treated to an abundance of stunning landscapes and natural wonders, but some of the most beautiful Hollywood A-listers, too.

Yep, the 2012 Cannes Film Festival is currently in full swing, and while actors and actresses from all over the world are flat out attending photocalls and premieres in an attempt to push their films, we at bh HQ are more concerned with the beauty side of things. It’s a paradise for the hair and make-up lovers, I tell you. An absolute paradise.

But before you scroll down and click through some of our favourite celebrity looks from Cannes, I simply must make note of Hungarian fashion model and L’Oreal Paris ambassador, Barbara Palvin, and her exquisite style. At 18 years of age, she’s got class beyond her years, possibly the most covetable blue eyes I’ve ever seen, and the ability to keep a red carpet look fresh, modern and completely age appropriate. She definitely deserves a round of applause, beauties! She’ll also make you want to pay more attention to your skin care regime, which is never a bad thing. To own skin like hers would most certainly be a marvellous thing.
