H&M is launching an eco-friendly beauty line

We jumped for joy when H&M made it to Australia, and now the fashion retailer is making our hearts race once again with the announcement it’s releasing an eco-friendly beauty line.

Set to hit US stores in September, the range will be an extension of the brand’s Conscious Collection.

Covering all beauty bases, it’ll include make-up, hair care, body care and beauty tools, which are all “organic, eco-certified and sustainable”.

They’ll also be pretty affordable, with prices ranging from US$2.99 (about AUD$3.75) to US$24.99 (about AUD$31.30).

Natural beauties will be pleased to know the packaging will be made from recycled materials. Plus, the products will be “paraben-, silicone-, GMO-, synthetic-fragrance-, and dye-free”.

But that’s not all that’s got us excited. Apparently, the new range will have 700 products. And that’s just the beginning: it’ll eventually expand to offer more than 1,000 products, including nail polish and hairstyling tools.

At the moment, there’s no word on whether or not the range is coming to Australian shores. But if and when it does, we’ll be very interested to see whether the offering lives up to the hype.
