We all get stuck in a hair rut once in a while so we thought we’d serve you up some mid-year suggestions – really just the best of the best of the year to date. Well that was the plan anyway, but then we found so many styles that we adored from the last few months that it was impossible to rifle through snaps harking back to January.
So here it is, the current 10 top hairstyles that you should be sporting and a little at-home advice…
Slicked back: Marion Cotillard
At the end of June the très chic Mademoiselle Cotillard debuted this super-slick ‘do. She was at the UK premiere of Public Enemies in a red Vivienne Westwood number at the time. We love it because a) it’s ‘80s slick b) has a killer blunt bottom line c) because volume is a girl’s best friend.
You’ll need: Aveda Confixor Fixative or Paul Mitchell Soft Sculpting Spray Gel and a Lady Jayne Comb – Dressing.
A little bit cool, a little bit tack. In other words: a winner.

I'm not overly fussed with this hairstyle. I'm not sure why, but it just doesn't do it for me.

Not really into this one either. I mean, it's kind of harsh looking.

Ooh i adore the pin-up look Peaches has, but not the whole aqua shaved crop. Not exactly my style.

I like half of these hairstyles. Amber Rose with that shaved blue/green hair looks atrocious! Rachel Weisz, hair, makeup and dress - perfection! Truly beautiful.

She does look a little like Kate Perry,
I don't think this would suit my heart face shape though; maybe with a longer length?

Looks like a 'comfortable' hairdo. Not one that would feel like your hair is being pulled out by the roots!! I have no idea who the person is though!

Good idea for someone with short hair. I like blunt style, young and modern. Wouldn't work for me though.

Not too keen on this look but she's such a beautiful woman that she can pull it off. I think it would have looked better with the back done up.
